Are you sick of having unhealthy skin? If so, you are not alone. Millions of people across the globe have horrible skin and they do so for many reasons. Healthy skin has a lot to do with what you feed your body. Here are some tips on you should be eating in order to properly feed your skin for success.

What To Consume For Healthy Skin

Vitamin E and Selenium
If you want to protect your skin cells from damage caused by free radicals then you should consume vitamin E and selenium. On the contrary, not consuming these products can have a negative impact on your skin which can lead to red bumps and even hair loss. If you want to ensure that you consume enough of both of these then I suggest adding seeds, whole grains and egg yolks to your diet but be sure to keep it moderate at best.

Essential Fatty Acids
This is a favorite of mine since I incorporate it in my daily intake during breakfast. EFA’s help you maintain healthy skin cell membranes. Restricting your body from essential fatty acids can often lead to dry skin or even acne. This can be consumed in pill form if you want or you can consume it naturally by adding salmon and tuna to your diet.

Consuming iron can be great for your body. Doing so helps keep the oxygen flowing in your body. restricting this from your diet can cause one to feel more tired over all. It can also lead to itchy and pale skin. I suggest making sure you’re consuming enough iron daily but don’t over do it here. Too much of anything is a bad thing.

Vitamin C
In my opinion, vitamin C might be the most important vitamin to consume. It can be helpful when it comes to building collagen. Vitamin C is used in a number of the most popular skin care products on the market today. If it wasn’t essential, it wouldn’t be the main ingredient in so many skin serums. This vitamin can be naturally consumed through fruits, juices, and even broccoli.

Staying hydrated is crucial if you want healthy skin. I consume more water than you can imagine on a daily basis and most celebrities even recommend consuming H20 in order to keep your skin hydrated. Lose the sodas and pick up a water bottle.

Get Rest
You must feed your body with plenty of rest if you want it to run the way it should. That means getting at least, eight hours of sleep each night. Depriving yourself sleep is literally killing you and is aging you.

Feed your skin with everything mentioned above and you should be well on your way working towards having healthy skin.
