Wait! Silver Is The Latest Skin Care Ingredient Trending? What?!?

For the most part, when we talk about silver we’re referring to that Rolex or the cute Tiffany’s necklace that you want. Silver is everywhere in the form of jewelry, accessories, and lots of other things and now – skin care!

Silver is trending today with lots of people keeping a close eye on this ingredient. Some people are even referring to this as being a savior ingredient. When referring to silver I’m mainly referring to colloidal silver, which is beneficial for numerous reasons. This ingredient can help fix, restore, and rejuvenate your skin back to health. It’s great for those dealing with acne issues as it plays the perfect role as an antiseptic.

Make no mistake about it, this ingredient has been used for years to help people heal. The only thing different is that brands are not starting to work this into their skin care products. I guess you could say that the old ways are finding their way into new formulas. If it can be used for hundreds of years to help with cleansing, scar reduction, and other issues, then it’s good enough for skin care companies to incorporate this into their product lines.

So, what I’ve done today is I’ve taken the time to share a few things about some products out there that exist today which incorporate the use of colloidal silver. All of the products below are available for purchase on one retail site or another. If you find that you’re still looking for more options, then I’d suggest just hitting the local Sephora or ULTA to see what they’ve got in store for you. I’m sure a retail specialist at either of the stores will be able to help you find what you’re looking for.

Skin Care Products Containing Silver (To Try Out)

Okay, so this list is in no particular order at all. I’ve just come up with some options for those looking to work silver-containing products into their skin care routine.

buly silver cleansing wash

The first product is called Officine Universelle Buly and it’s a French product that’s been created for people who tend to have sensitive and overly dry skin. It’s an ionized cleansing water which contains silver, gold, geranium and more. The product is officially called the Officine Universelle Buly’s True Ionized Cleansing Water 1 and it costs roughly $45 based on my research.

Amly Face Mist

The next product on the list is by Amly Botanicals which is a company based out of the United Kingdom. This product is the Amly Digital Detox Face Mist and it costs about $50 and can be purchased on the official website. The products contain naturally occurring antimicrobial silver which is found locally in the wildflower in the East Sussex region. This product contains a bunch of powerful ingredients like marine algae (also found in Paris Hilton’s Line), magnesium sulfate, juniper, and a lot more. Definitely, one to think about trying if you’re dealing with scarring and other topical issues.

omorovicza colloidal silver

I can’t even pronounce this next brand. It’s called Omorovicza and it contains colloidal silver which, as previously stated is an antibacterial and this product, in particular, contains a bunch of solid ingredients. I’m talking about things like glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and niacinamide. This will cost you more than the rest at $70 but it’s a winner in my book.

I guess the bottom line is simple. You should think about working in a couple skin care products that contain colloidal silver. Why not, right? You’ve got nothing to lose unless you’ve got an allergy towards it. In which case, I’d say you better come up with another plan!

If you do have an allergy and you need to stay away from this ingredient, then why not just give one of these other trending ingredients a try. There’s always snail mucushoney, butter, and many more things to consider.
