Here are a few tried and true DIY techniques if you’re looking to get rid of the pimples that exist under your skin.

Apple Cider Vinegar

If you’re looking for a low cost, fast fixing solution to clearing up you skin, apple cider vinegar is a good choice. The acidity in apple cider vinegar helps balance your body’s chemistry. Using this ingredient can produce great results. Here’s what you need to do. Take a 1/4 cup of water and mix it with 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Take the solution and wash your face with it. You can clean the affected area with a piece of cotton or a pad. Be sure to apply the solution directly to any area that may be affected. If you take the initiative to do this procedure on a daily basis, you will have positive results. Be sure to also incorporate some moisturizing procedure as well. You don’t want to dry out your skin too much and the acidity can sometimes do that.

I know I’ve mentioned that toothpaste isn’t necessarily a great solution for clearing up your acne but since there are so many individuals that believe in this procedure, I’m going to mention it. Getting rid those blind pimples can be a real nuisance. As we all know, blind pimples are extremely uncomfortable. That’s why we sometimes apply toothpaste to them to help get rid of those pesky pimples.

However, it’s important that you use a white toothpaste that is very low in fluoride. Too much fluoride can cause light patches of skin to develop. It can also cause rashes to form. For best results, you should apply the toothpaste for at least two hours or perhaps even overnight for best results. Let the toothpaste dry completely before washing your face and again, just like with the apple cider vinegar, it’s important to moisturize after treating your skin.

Benzoyl Peroxide

The methods I’ve mentioned up until now have been quick fixes with short-term results. If you’re looking for something more long term or perhaps a permanent solution, then you need to try using Benzoyl peroxide.

What is Benzoyl Peroxide? Good question, it’s an acne treatment that specializes in fighting all types of acne. One of which is under the skin pimples. This can be purchased both over the counter and by prescription depending on the potency of the product. Incorporating a product that contains this ingredient is definitely going to lead to positive results over time. In fact, you should see results in just a few days after applying Benzoyl Peroxide to your skin.

Habit Changes

If you have a bad habit of not changing your pillow, then I’m going to suggest that you change it frequently. The oils, dirt, and makeup residue that your skin absorbs can be transferred to your pillow. This is literally breeding grounds for pimples. Wash your pillow cases every day if you want to get rid of your pimples.

Another bad habit that you should try and correct is touching you skin and face in general. Your hands are filled with disgusting germs. More germs than your pillow case even. You must wash your hands multiple times a day and refrain from touching your face at all times.

Wash Off Makeup

Makeup is one the most common causes of acne. Yes, the products state that they are completely safe for your skin and they are. However, if you leave your face covered with a mask of makeup nightly, you’re going to have some seriously clogged pores and pimples galore. You need a good makeup remover if you plan on wearing makeup. Simple as that really. There’s no way around it. Wearing makeup for a long period of time is horrible for your skin. Do your face a favor and pick up a remover from either Neutrogena or Clinique. There are many different types of make removers. The most popular type seems to be the towelettes because they aren’t as oily and they are convenient but they may not be the best for you.

If your acne is really bad and you’re suffering from cystic acne, then you may be able to treat your condition through the use of cortisone shots. These shots typically relieve the┬ápain of acne blemishes within 12 hours. What I suggest is that you contact your dermatologist is you’re seriously interested in this type of treatment. It typically takes only one cortisone treatment to help relieve oneself from the┬ápain that’s given off from cysts or pimples.

Lst but not least, there’s always the famous Accutane solution. If your acne is extremely severe, then you’ll want to consult with your doctor about this treatment method. This medication is extremely powerful and it’s only provided to patients via a prescription. It can without a doubt do wonders for your skin and can successfully decrease the inflammation. The main ingredient responsible for all this work is called Isotretinoin and it’s extremely powerful. If you’re interested in using Accutane then you better call your dermatologist. Know all the side effects that come along with taking this medication.

If you’re suffering from under the skin pimples or any other type of acne, whether it be visible or invisible to the naked eye, there are treatments that can help you. Decide whether a home remedy is for you or whether a stronger more medically approved treatment makes sense. The most important thing is that you take action to clear up your skin.
