If you’re an 80s baby then you likely grew up watching the tv show, “Sister Sister.” Tia Mowry and Tamera Mowry are twin sisters that host a cooking show on the Cooking Channel. The show is called Tia Mowry at Home. She’s in the process of releasing a new cookbook and recently spoke with some people over at NYM Mag to share some personal healthy and beauty secrets. Amongst those secrets were some gems that she relies on to keep her skin looking great.
What I can say about Tia Mowry is that she’s all about balance and healthy living. I’m talking about meditation, working out, eating right and treating her body with respect.
One of the things that Tia is really into these days is yoga. It gives her a chance to rest and release some of the stresses that come with living a hectic life.
Tia Mowry’s Approach To Skin Care
One thing that Tia Mowry does is she approaches her skin from the inside out. Too many people focus on applying creams, lotions, and serums to their face. Not Tia, she focuses on food first and foremost. The TV star focuses on what she’s putting into her body and the number one priority is most definitely water! Interestingly enough, she does something that most we know don’t and that’s flavoring her water. She does this with Stevia.
As far as eating is concerned, you best believe that Tia is eating as well as possible. She’s mixing in berries for the antioxidants to help remove toxins from her body.
What About Product Application?
Take a wild guess as to what Tia likes to use most. Any ideas? She’s all about using a high-quality moisturizer and basically anything that contains vitamin C.
It’s not uncommon for her to put together a vitamin C scrub that’ll give her that boost she needs to rid her body of many impurities, not to mention it helps keep her skin looking perfect!
She has a secret product that she uses each night to help keep her skin looking great. After thoroughly cleansing her face each evening, Tia applies a product made by Kiehl’s called Midnight Recovery Concentrate. She claims that it’s absolutely amazing for her skin. I guess it acts similar to an elixir.
Maybe you should think about picking up one of the many vitamin C serums or maybe a Kiehl’s product that Tia recommended. In the meantime, take another look around at some of the other celeb-related posts that we’ve done here on Skincare.net.
