Gwyneth Paltrow has a much busier schedule than all of us. She’s constantly traveling from location to location. Her job demands that she travel and one would think that her skin has to pay the price for it. Gwyneth decided to share some of her tips for taking care of your skin when traveling is a must.
Travel Tips To Keep Your Skin Healthy
It should come as no surprise that Gwyneth Paltrow drinks an enormous amount of water. I’ve preached the water consumption factor on multiple occasions and she’s another one that suggests the same. Gwyneth doesn’t stop there. According to an article published in Hello Magazine, she adds a vitamin sachet to her water which helps give her an additional vitamin boost.
When Gwyneth is traveling, she said that she uses moisturizer on her skin and even puts on a mask. When it comes to good travel skin care, she doesn’t stop there. Most may think that someone as successful as Gwyneth Paltrow would indulge in the snacks and first class food that’s available. Quite the contrary actually. Gwyneth tries her best to “not eat rubbish,” she will often try and “pack salad and fruit,” instead of eating cookies and the processed goodies that are given away during flights.
Another tip the Gwyneth had was to try and find a way to detox your skin after a long day of traveling. She does her very best to try and find a sauna, even for only 20 minutes after she’s spent the day traveling. She does this in order to sweat the germs out from the plane. We all know that germs and travel go hand in hand. It’s something that we can’t completely avoid but we can try our best.
Gwyneth Paltrow does her best to try and enjoy her time while traveling. She typically doesn’t restrict herself from indulging on some of the finer things that some countries have to offer. She enjoys the food, wine, and luxuries. She typically just gets right back on schedule when she’s back home.
Lastly, Gwyneth enjoys taking in the local scenery while also getting some exercise in during her travels. She tries to keep her body in prime shape but prefers getting some exposure outdoors versus wasting time on a treadmill in a hotel. However, I must warn you. If you’re planning on traveling to a destination that you’ve never been to and you plan on spending time outside, I urge you to wear sunscreen at all times. You don’t know how your skin is going to react to the sun in the local area and it’s certainly a good idea to be well prepared in the event that the sun is stronger than you’re accustomed to being exposed to.
These are all fantastic pointers that Gwyneth has provided. If you’re looking for more tips, you can always visit our skin care tips section of the site.
