Given that Gina recently went out of her way to publish a piece on one of the infamous Kardashian girls, I thought it was only appropriate to follow up with something related. For all those wondering, no I don’t watch Keeping Up With The Kardashians aka KUWTK and I’m not a die-hard fan. That said, I never pass up the opportunity to learn what celebs are thinking and doing today. That holds especially true when it comes to skin, health, and fitness. I recently learned that Khloe Kardashian and I have something in common.
No, we don’t both have a black Rolls Royce. Honestly, I wish that were the case but it’s not…yet.
The one thing we have in common is we both shop a lot on Amazon. Chances are I’m not the only one that spends countless hours scouring the Amazon marketplace looking for the perfect myriad of product, deal, and merchant. This is something that I’ve been doing for quite some time now and as the holiday rolls around, you best believe that I’ll be doing more shopping than ever. I typically buy healthy products for people and those that can help improve their everyday life. That’s just how I roll.
Now, as a result of shopping so frequently on Amazon, I’ve become what I like to refer to as an Amazon pro. What I’m trying to drive at here is that there are a few specific things that I look at when buying body, health and wellness products within this marketplace. I’ll be covering everything that I do when investigating products before making a purchase.
You might not be as picky as I am, but I truly believe my approach helps find and acquire the best products out there. Everyone has there own way of doing things and I’m not saying this is the only way to do it. This is just what I do when shopping on Amazon.com, especially when it comes to skin and health.
Here’s what you need to know…
There are a few things that I want to cover here that will likely help you find products that best suit your needs and are most reputable. Again, my approach isn’t the best, it’s just what I do.
It all starts with the searching.
The first thing I do when searching within the Amazon marketplace is I do a search using a term that’s relevant to the product type. For purposes of showing you how I do this, I’m going to do a search for “skin tag remover.”
You’ll quickly notice that I’m doing this search across all departments and not just a single section of Amazon. This allows me to see all relevant products no matter what department they’ve been listed in.
Once I do that, I then typically check out the very first listing that shows up. In this case, it’s the Skinpro Skin Tag Remover & Mole Corrector. The reason I like to look at the first listing is that it’s likely to be the most relevant to my search which was “skin tag remover.”
I’ll open up the first few products in different windows to take a look at each of them. One thing that I always do is investigate the individual product page. I like to take a look at each of the product images showcasing the product. In this particular case, I came across photos that pointed out the main features of the product along with a nice guarantee. I also like to see if I can identify who the manufacturer of the product is. In this particular case, it’s SkinPro.
The next thing I do is I take a minute to read the questions that have been answered about the product. Chances are if someone has asked a question in the past, there’s a good chance that you’ll want to know the answer as well. Assuming that the answers to the questions are straightforward and thorough, then I’m that much more intrigued by the product.
Now, I know what you’re about to ask me, you’re curious is the star rating and customer reviews play a prominent role in my purchasing decision. Well, the truth is that they do sometimes but not all the time. I like to look for consistency in ratings but that’s about it. Remember, this is skin care, body, and fitness we’re talking about. There is no one size fits all miracle product for everyone. That said, you’ll always have a few complainers and bad reviewers that completely destroy a product. I tend to ignore them entirely as they just don’t provide any real value in my opinion.
One other thing I like to look for when buying from a store is their entire storefront. I want to know that the company I’m buying from is selling multiple products that are of the same brand and industry type. This makes me feel more confident that I’m purchasing goods from a company that specializes in something. When I come across a store that’s selling protein bars and car stereo parts, I’m running like the wind.
Should you take my advice and follow the same approach, I think your skin care and fitness shopping is likely to be a huge success and with the greatest of ease.
It’s Friday today, so if you’re like me, then you’re about to hit Amazon to pick up some more products! Happy shopping everyone and if you’re looking for high-quality skin care products, I suggest checking out the Skinpro store on Amazon. They sell lots of products which I personally use and will recommend. Should you need recommendations for pre-workout supplements and protein powders, contact me and I’ll email the details to you!
Have a nice weekend!
