When To Apply Products For The Best Results
This should serve as your daily skin care timeline from here on out. I’m sharing when you should apply products for the best results possible. This timeline assumes that you’re up at about 6-6:15am and that you head to bed around 10:30pm. Let’s get started without wasting any more time!
The first thing you’ll want to do when you wake up is apply a special facial cream. Might I suggest that you apply the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream. It’s great for your skin, especially if you have sensitive skin issues that you’re dealing with. One thing that you need to understand is that I’m telling you to put off washing your face and apply this cream first. I know, it sounds super strange but you’ve got to trust the process.
Around 8:30am once you’ve had your coffee, breakfast, and everything else that you require to get moving in the morning, it’s then time to wake your eyes up. Chances are yuour eyes are looking puffy and dark. The circles are there and you’re in desperate need of eye cream to de-puff your skin.
If you haven’t applied it already, now is the time to do so. You need to protect your skin from the harmful UV rays that exist in the environment today. Think about incorporating a BB Cream that contains SPF to help protect against both UVA and UVB rays. Find a product that’s of high-quality and be sure to use it daily before peak sun time.
This one is primarily for the women, it’s powder used to absorb the oil and reset your makeup. After eating your lunch, take a quick walk to the restroom and freshen up your skin a bit. You can pick up a product known as the Becca Blotting Powder Perfector which can help bring your skin back to life and make it look less oily for the remainder of the day.
By the time 5:00pm comes around, your skin is going to be dried out and screaming for help. A quick facial spray will quickly fix that! What you’re looking for is something along the lines of water containing minerals. You’ll want to find something that’s light with a slight mist that won’t ruin your makeup completely.
Just before the workday ends, you’ll want to touch up your lips with the use of a simple lip balm. I would suggest EOS lip balm, but due to the issue people have, I can’t do it! This goes for those that neglect drinking water throughout the day! Your lips likely crack more so than most people.
By now you should be home and getting ready for bed. Do your skin a solid by applying a cleansing oil to remove any dirt and grime that may have built up throughout the day. This oil cleansing process will also help remove any makeup that’s been caked on your face.
The final touch of the day is applying none other than night cream! This type of cream will help rejuvenate your skin, rehydrate, and basically work your skin back to health while you sleep. I strongly recommend that you read some of the night cream reviews before you purchase anything.
Well, that’s all I’ve got for you today! Do your best to try and take some action this week and revamp your skin care routine if possible. Believe it or not, every little tweak helps!
