Lots of people will tell you that they have all the answers when it comes to making their skin look better. Everything thinks they’re an expert but the truth be told, no one a true, “know it all.” That holds especially true when it comes to your skin. However, some people definitely know more than others and when it comes to keeping your skin acne free, you might just need to eat the right foods.
Keeping your skin looking perfect is important. Incorporating natural ingredients into your life is important and perhaps just as important as omitting toxic ingredients from your daily routine. Why might you ask? Well, believe it or not, there is a link between the food you eat and your acne. Switching up your diet for just one day may even help do the trick. I’ll give you all the insight that you need to know in order to be successful here from an acne-free perspective.
In other words, I’m going to tell you how you can eat your way to clearer skin.
This Clear Skin Diet Works – Bon Appetit!
Now, I’m not saying that you have no choice but to adopt this exact diet if you want the acne-free and clear skin you’ve been shooting for. However, it would be in your best interest to take action where suggested. You may not like all the foods, but I’d strongly advise to do this just for 24-48 hours and see how you feel. You will not starve, in fact, you’ll likely feel a lot better and I know you’ll look much better too!
Without further ado, here’s what you need to do…
The day typically starts with breaking the fast and that’s exactly what’s going to happen here. For breakfast, you’re going to opt for a smoothie loaded with lots of vegetables. Be sure to work in carrots, apples, beets, and kale into your smoothie. These veggies are great for those dealing with hormonal acne as the fiber in them is great for your digestion. The green kale is loaded with vitamin A, which helps jump start your collagen production almost instantly.
If you’re not in the mood for a smoothie, then my next suggestion would be to go with something low in sugar like old-fashioned oatmeal (part of the ABC diet), ripe blueberries, and some greek yogurt.
For lunch, you’re going to want to keep with tradition and consume a salad. Go heavy on the greens as well as the other veggies that have lots of vitamin A in them. I typically toss in some grilled chicken or raw tuna or grilled salmon to get all my good fats in. Remember, anti-inflammatories are great for your skin as they reduce acne flare-ups.
For an afternoon snack, there’s one thing that I absolutely will not do and that’s chow down on some sugary snack. Instead, I find a healthy non-processed alternative like some almonds and an apple. Whatever you do, it’s in your best interest to stay far away from cake, cupcakes and other refined sugar treats. They will make you fat and you’ll be doing a disservice to your skin, simple as that.
Notice how I’ve made no mention of dairy as of yet? That’s because it’s no good for your skin. That dairy means hormones which sometimes leads to breakouts. We’ve eliminated that issue entirely here.
For dinner, you’ll want to consume foods that contain vitamin E in them. These foods will help keep the inflammation down. You’re probably wondering, what foods exactly right? Things like kale, carrots, guacamole and various types of fish.
What I suggest is trying this Clear Skin Diet out for a period of 24-48 hours. See how your body feels and reacts to the chances. I’m guessing you’re going to have more energy and better-looking skin as a result.
