It’s super important that we protect our skin year round, but some people do not do that. Tisk, tisk, I know shame on them. After all that we’ve said over this past winter you would think that people would understand that sun protection is a daily and year-round job. However, during the summertime, it’s especially important considering the excess amount of time that we spend outdoors and exposed to the harmful UV rays. If you’re not looking into purchasing sweatproof sunscreens this summer, then you’re not doing it right! Below you’ll find a bunch of sunscreen options which stay on your skin, fighting both water as well as sweat.
Sweat and Water Won’t Prevent These Sweatproof Sunscreens From Doing Their Job!
Now, the good news here is that you’ve got plenty of options to turn to for this. If you’re picky and cannot find something in the list below that fits your needs, then reach out to us. We’ll do our best to help you find the perfect SPF sunscreen just for you. Without further ado, here are the sweatproof/waterproof SPF sunscreens that suggest trying.
Drunk Elephant Umbra Sheer Physical Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen (SPF 30)
This first one is made by a brand called Drunk Elephant. It’s an SPF 30 and a great brand to consider. This sunscreen contains lots of antioxidants which help to fight off free radicals. It’s a broad spectrum SPF able to protect your skin from UVA and UVB exposure. At $34, it’s affordable and the brand is certainly one that seems to be well-respected by many consumers worldwide. Just be sure to use it as directed and reapply when necessary.
Bare Republic Mineral Sport Sunscreen Stick (SPF 50)
This option is about as solid as it gets. Why? Well, there’s nothing like have the convenience of a sport stick when on the go. No mess, no fuss, no issues are the way to go and this SPF 50 product seems like it’s a winner for sure. Based on consumer reviews it seems like people that rate this as a 4.4 out of 5.0 on Amazon, a solid rating in my humble opinion. Did I mention that it’s more affordable than most at $10?
Kiehl’s Super Fluid Daily UV Defense Sunscreen Broad Spectrum (SPF 50)
We love Kiehl’s products and this one is certainly no exception to that. This broad spectrum SPF is 50+ and it packs a punch to fight against UV damage. With more than 100 reviews on the Kiehl’s website alone, this is a winner for sure. It’s going to cost a bit more than the typical sunscreen (between $38 – $61) which is quite a lot of money for sunscreen. But guess what costs more? Treating common skin growth issues and pre-cancer. Take action on the front end to avoid more issues in the long run.
SkinCeuticals Physical Fusion UV Defense (SPF 50)
Another SPF 50 option is one by SkinCeuticals. We’ve covered this brand extensively over the years. In fact, you can read this page here to learn more about the brand. The SPF is affordable at $34 and reasonable if you ask me. This product has a lot of reviews posted for it on Amazon.com. To be exact, more than 400 reviews with a rating of 4.5 of 5.0. It comes in a tint that’s suitable for all tones and is a UV fighter.
Honest Mineral Sunscreen (SPF 50)
Next up, the brand by Jessica Alba, this brand has been known to deliver products that are free from nasty ingredients. Based on my research, the SPF 50+ is a broad spectrum product and is safe enough for babies to use. The product will work for 80 minutes before you need to reapply the product. It’s been tested by dermatologists, pediatrics, and more. If you’re looking for a hypoallergenic and fragrance-free product with 100+ reviews on Amazon, then this might be a good option for you. Oh, and it’s only $14! However, be careful because they did get sued at one point for skin irritation.
Tatcha Silken Pore Perfecting Sunscreen Broad Spectrum (SPF 35)
Here’s another brand that we’ve covered in the past. Tatcha products can be found all over the shelves at Sephora. This product specifically is an SPF 35 sunscreen that contains anti aging minerals which protect your skin while keeping you young looking. If you’ve got pore issues and uneven skin tones, then this one might be for you. No matter what type of skin you’re sporting these days, this product is ideal for you. The product has 20,000 favorites and 180 reviews on Sephora alone. It’ll cost you $65 but I’d say it’s worth giving a shot!
