Suzanne Somers FaceMaster

I recently did some digging around to learn more about the Suzanne Somers FaceMaster. In doing so, I actually learned quite a bit about the creator as well as the product itself. You know, it’s not every day that I get to cover a product made by someone as famous as Suzanne Somers. She was an icon back in the day and may very well still be depending on who you ask.

FaceMaster Review

I did some research on Suzanne Somers just so I could shed some light on the things that she’s done throughout her career. The 71-year-old got her start in acting back in the late 60s early 70s starring in shows like Three’s Company. She eventually ended up becoming the spokeswoman for a 1980s slimming device called the Thighmaster.

This exercise equipment definitely helped boost her popularity among the health and fitness industry. From there, she went on to do more television work, create more brands and so on and so forth.

Is The Suzanne Somers FaceMaster For You?

Now before you go buying the FaceMaster, you need to know everything there is to know about it. I’ll start by confirming that this is a device which has been designed to help consumers treat their skin by toning it with facial treatments which are administered in the comfort of your own home.

The toning treatments for your face work using something known as microcurrent technology and yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like. Full disclosure, the product was not developed by Suzanne but by FaceMaster which is a company based out of California. The company was actually founded back in 1995 and it was done so for Suzanne Somers herself. Fast forward to today and she’s now officially the endorser of the product.

What Does It Do?

I really thought you’d never ask. The Suzanne Somers FaceMaster product treats various skin issues such as wrinkles, lines, sagging skin, and more. Assuming that you’re an advocate for using technology to improve the condition of your skin but you can’t afford the typical professional dermatologist treatments, then you just might be the perfect candidate for this. The FaceMaster company manufactures a number of other products in addition to the one that Suzanne Somers endorses. All of which are readily available only to those living in the United States.

So, here’s how this product works. The FaceMaster literally sends these electrical currents to the muscles on your face. In doing so, they end up contracting and tightening. As the skin tightens and contracts, it becomes smoother and firmer. The end result is typically said to be a more youthful looking face.

What you need to realize is that using these at-home facial treatments will likely not yield the same results as those treatments administered at a professional dermatologists office. You need to be honest with yourself and your skin care goals. Seriously, they will likely work but they take a lot more time than the traditional approach. Of course, it’s a lot cheaper which is the tradeoff of doing things in the comfort of your own home.

Buying The Products

Before getting into where you can purchase the products I’ll fill you in on the specific products that FaceMaster offers. They have a whole collection of products. To be honest, far too many to even cover. I’ll try to briefly though. They offer the Platinum Facial Toning System, The Soothing Conductive Serum, Anti Aging Serum, Glyco-Peptide Eye Firming Serum, Moisturizer, and many other products.

Now as far as buying the products is concerned you do have some options, but you might want to stay away from all options aside from the corporate website. The only place where you’re guaranteed official and authentic products is via the FaceMaster website. Any purchase off of eBay, Amazon, Craigslist could potentially be fake and not authentic at all.

If you want the whole kit, it’s going to cost you a cool $299 for one brand new. They do offer factory refurbished kits for $199. The good news is that if you cannot afford this, then you’ve got options. For example, you can pay over four payments if you cannot afford to pay in full.

If you’re going to spend between $299 and $199 on a skin care device, then I strongly suggest that you spend your time researching the device and asking a professional what they think about it.

Assuming that they tell you not to use it, well, then perhaps you should take their advice and do just that.

How To Use The FaceMaster

Before you jump right in and start using this, you need to learn exactly what needs to be done and that means understanding how the product works and what to do.

Using the FaceMaster isn’t too difficult. The device comes with finger wands as well as hand wands which help deliver the electrical current to your face. You’ll want to set time aside to use this device a few times each week. Those treatments will likely take about 20 minutes each on average.

You’ll want to apply the conductive gel to your already cleaned skin before using the wands. It’s very important to understand that these results are not permanent, but temporary so you need to be consistent with your treatments.

The Risks

Are there risks to consider when using this product? Of course! There are always risks to consider, after all, you never know how your body is going to react to anything especially an at-home treatment like this. However, this product has a serious concern. Given the electrical currents are applied to the skin, you should not use this device if you’ve got a pacemaker. Assuming you accidentally do so, then you need to be seen by your doctor immediately.

The good news is that the Suzanne Somers FaceMaster has been approved by the FDA and tested by physicians. If you begin to experience any changes which might be negative then you need to get help immediately! Do not wait as it’s your body, not a car or some other replaceable object.
