Galderma Is Getting “Bigger In Texas”
Well, the multinational company seems to be making big moves in Texas. According to recent news published in a Dallas newspaper, Galderma is in the process of completing a huge expansion process.
What exactly does this mean? Well, for starters, it means that Galderma is planning on spending $22 million in an effort to expand the companies headquarters in the United States.
The company hs been working with city officials in Fort Worth, Texas in order to work out the details of this expansion. The expansion is believed to likely create more than 300 jobs in the local area and they are planning on adding an additional 100,000 square foot building to their “campus.” The good news for Galderma is that the Texas Enterprise Fund plans on providing them with grant of roughly $2 million to assist with the expansion.
In addition to the grant, the City of Fort worth has also agreed to give Galderma a tax incentive in order to fully support the expansion process. This type of local teamwork is wonderful. I love seeing companies and municipalities working together to build a better place for individuals residing in a local area. I’m sure we will be seeing a lot of great things from Galderma and their subsidiaries as a result of the expansion.
