Reversa Review

We all want to do one thing – reverse the aging process. That’s one of the main reasons why I was drawn to Reversa so quickly. The branding just stuck with me and for that same reason, I took it upon myself to check things out. After reading this review, you should be able to deduce whether or not this is a brand worth investing in. There are many brands out there to choose from today, which is one of the many reasons why you need to know everything about the brand before making a solid decision to buy.

reversa skin care reviewWhat Is Reversa? Here Are The Details.

The Canadian-based Dermtek Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is the developer of the brand Reversa. This brand was specifically designed with the idea of helping those with premature aging skin and acne-prone skin. Here’s how they got started. Demtek Pharmaceuticals was founded by Robert Lavoie in 1986, and for more than thirty years, this company has been bringing consumers a wide range of therapeutic derma products. One of the major Demtek achievements was the creation and launch of Ombrelle sunscreen which was subsequently sold to L’Oreal.

The Reversa brand carries several different products, but their best sellers are by far the Anti Spot Cream. This helps you should you be dealing with liver spots. Then there’s the Corrective Night Cream which works well for those with wrinkles and finally the Anti-Wrinkle Cream that helps fight off lines and wrinkles.

The Reversa Company/Brand

The Reversa brand, as a part of the Demtek Pharmaceuticals, follows the same motto as its parent company. They are 100% devoted to remaining innovative and always improving the therapeutical power of their products. This brand has incorporated glycolic acid into their anti-aging products as well as many others. I’ll dive deeper into the formulas.

All Reversa products can be purchased online, through their website, or through other beauty and skin care retailers. You’ll want to be careful where you buy. No other way to say it, just be careful. If you’re looking to buy the product do so via the corporate site, not some shady retailer.

As for pricing, I must say that the price range is very affordable and just about anyone can use the Reversa products no matter what type of condition their skin is in. I do like that fact that the company has some incentives which they’ve laid out stating that you get free shipping on orders over $50. For the loyal customers, there are always discounts, special offers, and beauty related tips and tricks. All wins in my book, yes! Time to move on to the ingredients…

The Ingredients

The main ingredient in the Reversa anti-aging products is the glycolic acid. Let me fill you in on what that is. You can read this page here to learn more about it, but here’s the short version of that. Glycolic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid or AHA and it’s extracted from sugar cane. This is a very small molecule, making it easy to penetrate quite deep into the surface of the skin.

The glycolic acid works its magic, loosening the bond between the dead skin cells, gently exfoliating the skin, and unclogging your pores, all while stimulating the collagen production. This helps smooth out your wrinkles, improve the color of your skin, improve your texture and rejuvenate things.

Most of the Reversa anti-aging products contain between 4% and 8% glycolic acid. This concentration is just about right to help fix your skin without causing excessive irritation issues. Other ingredients in the anti-aging Reversa products are Beta-Glucan, hyaluronic acid, Micro-Collagen, vitamin E, vitamin B3, teprenone, ash bark extract, wild yam extract, and soy extract.

The company developed the Time-Release Glyco-Comfort System which enables the releasing of anti-aging ingredients in an extended period of time. This type of system ensures the prolonged effects of the product and the ingredients associated. The system also contains arginine (essential amino acid) and allantoin (a skin protection agent) that soften the skin and reduce the unpleasant effect the glycolic acid has on the skin.

The acne control treatments contain salicylic acid in different concentrations, depending on the product of choice. If you’re not familiar with this, salicylic acid is known for fighting acne and the Reversa acne treatments contain enough of this ingredient to control and prevent breakouts.

More Product Info

The most famous Reversa products by far are the acne control treatments and the anti-wrinkle creams e.g. Anti Spot Cream, Corrective Night Cream, and the Anti Wrinkle Cream.

Some of their other anti-aging products are the UV Anti-Wrinkle Cream, UV Anti-Spot Lightening Cream, UV Anti-Wrinkle Fluid, UV Anti-Wrinkle Eye Contour Cream, Skin Smoothing Cream and the Skin Smoothing Body Lotion.

As for acne control, they’ve got quite a bit here which they offer. Things like Acnex Mattifying Moisturizer, the Reversa Solution for Oily and Acne-prone Skin, the Acnex Purifying Cleansing Gel and the Acnex Purifying Solution.

There are many other Reversa products specifically designed to help fix your skin, help you better deal with environmental factors, and they’ve even got a makeup removing cleanser. You name it, they’ve got it covered.

Retail Listings

I wasn’t able to find any information on their Amazon listings and based on the research that I did, they may not exist. However, I did find that they had a product listing on and the reviews were pretty good. They’ve been rated a 4.3 out of 5.0 by 18 people who left reviews of the Skin Smoothing Cream 8% Glycolic Acid. Give that product a shot if you’re hesitant in trying things out. Better to try a product that has some clout and positive reviews versus none.

Reversa seems to be a pretty good brand. Its parent company, Dermtek Pharmaceuticals, seems to be quite reputable and they make some decent products. This is obviously confirmed by all the positive reviews published online. Check out their official site here.

If you’ve taken the time to try this brand and you have something to share about it. Please do share the intel with us. We’ll even throw you some new products if you’re informative enough!
