How To Reduce Puffy Eyes
Strawberries, Not Cucumbers
You’re probably familiar with the old cucumber treatment. There’s a reason why spas provide ice cold cucumber slices for you to place on your eyes. For starters, they feel incredible and they work. However, there’s something even better than cucumbers, bright red strawberries!
Strawberries are filled with alpha hydroxy acid which works great to keep the swelling down in your puffy eyes. It also works wonders to keep your skin firm. According to an article in NewBeauty.com, all you need to do is cut the tops off of the strawberries, toss them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to chill, remove them from the fridge and place them on top of your eye bags for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Get Some Sleep
Puffy eyes can be a direct result of a lack of sleep. While, it’s not necessarily a natural fix, a concealer can be a quick fix that can make your puffy eyes disappear pretty quickly. There are plenty of concealer products that you can purchase. These concealers have ingredients such as hyaluronic acid as well as nutrients that can help replenish your skin, making it look good as new.
Reduce The Fluid
Puffy eyes can be caused by retained fluid. The good news is that a simple eye cream first thing in the morning can help reduce the fluid retention. I know many people that rely on eye creams to reduce the fluid in their eyes. We’ve reviewed some of the best eye creams on the market and I’m sure you’ll be able to find one on our site that will help you reduce the fluid retention.
Increase The Circulation
Another simple way to reduce the puffiness of your under eyes is to increase your circulation. Poor circulation is horrible for your skin. The good things is that you can rejuvenate your skin with some simple electronic massage. There are a few different types of massage devices. According to NewBeauty.com, there are devices such Foreo Iris which are made to massage your under eyes. Circulation reduces puffiness, lines and wrinkles and an electronic massage can help achieve all that and then some.
