When it comes to skin type and routine, there’s a formula that you must follow. It’s called trial and error – LOL. No, but seriously, that’s what it takes if you want to perfect your skin and get into a routine that works just for you. That being said, some of us get super bogged down with all the options and choices out there. Really, there are more exfoliators, cleansers, and moisturizers that we know what to do with, no matter what your skin type may be. Sometimes all you need to do is try different products or skin care treatments until you find what works best for you.
Don’t feel overwhelmed. We’re taking the stress out of all this and sharing products that you might want to think about using this summer before bed. These products listed below are what many would consider their first line of defense for nighttime skin care products. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered here…
Nighttime Skin Care Product Options To Consider Scooping Up This Weekend
DOn’t worry, I’m not going to throw everything at you but the kitchen sink. However, I will be sharing a laundry list of products that you most definitely should consider using at night these days. Also, you’ll be happy to learn that these products will not break the bank. Keep in mind that these products are not in any specific order or anything or that nature. They are simply suggestions that you might consider using if you want to kick your nighttime routine into high gear.
The first product is the Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream Face Moisturizer. This is a very economical moisturizer that many claim makes their skin feel like a baby’s bottom. It’s technically an anti aging moisturizer but it does a lot of things. At $10, it’s tough to pass up.
Next on the list is Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser, and I’ve included it because this brand is the bomb! Seriously, if you’re in the market for a solid cleanser that’s not going to leave your skin feeling insanely dry, then this is it for you. Assuming you’re serious about your nighttime routine, then for $20 you can up your game with this, without a doubt.
I’m going to follow up with another Kiehl’s product that I love and that the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate Serum. This is a serum that’s meant to work hard in the evening and replenish/repair your skin while you sleep. For $47 you really can’t go wrong as far as night time serums go. Some people do opt for the this and if they do they reap the benefits of doing so quite rapidly.
If you’re a female and you wear makeup on a daily basis then you need a solid makeup remover. One that you might want to consider is the Dior Triple Impact Makeup Remover. The makeup remover is considered to be a top-notch product that can remove makeup, even mascara. Lots of women have opted to add this to their evening routine. At $33, it’s higher than the average makeup remover but many say it’s worth it.
You’ll probably get a kick out of this one but lip balm is actually a recommended as a product to use in the evening. Using lip balm is crucial if you want soft lips. I suggest rounding your evening out with a little bit of this. I mean for less than $10 it’s perhaps the best lip balm that you can consider using.
If you’re looking for a toner, consider the Pixi Beauty Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner. We covered this brand in the past and for $30 it’s a glycolic acid containing masterpiece that some people swear by.
