Plexaderm Review – The Cost, Ingredients & Where To Buy

I’ve been in the skin care game for a long time now and it seems like I just got started yesterday. That’s because there are so many new brands emerging daily that it’s extremely difficult to keep up with them. While we do our best, there is always something that we are not familiar with. When that happens, we research and report. That’s exactly what happened with Plexaderm.

As a consumer, you may have seen this skin care product on the news from time to time. The specific product is called the Plexaderm Rapid Wrinkle Remover and it’s one of those that certainly looks interesting enough to want to check out. The very first thing that I did when researching this product was I checked out the results in Google. I wanted to see what everyone was saying about it. Some of the sites were reporting decent things but most were totally bashing the product.

I’m talking about sites like Highya.com, Dietsinreview.com, and birthorderplus.com. They’ve all scored this product pretty low, to say the least. Most between 2 and 4 stars. Don’t worry about that for now though. Here’s what you need to know about most importantly, I’m laying it all out for you right here, right now.

Just How Does Plexaderm Attract So Many Consumers?

The company is run by some smart people. They believe in hitting the news and TV to get their brand out there. Reports on the Plexaderm Rapid Wrinkle Remover product are often seen on television. They literally showcase someone using the product on TV in order to share what it can do for a consumers skin. Plexaderm does this to showcase the removal of the bags under a consumer’s eyes right in front of yours. They simply apply the Plexaderm serum, wait a few minutes and check out the results.

However, the main problem here is that they show you how to use it and what happens but they don’t share many details about what makes it work and why. I hate when products take a secretive role like that. In my opinion, if you’re using a proprietary formula, then fine, I get it. But the least you can do is showcase and share all the ingredients involved. There are tons of serums that you might consider using, so what would make Plexaderm your final choice? I’ll break things down further to help you understand better.

Plexaderm Wrinkle Remover – Here’s How It Works

So, the issue I have here is that the creators of Plexaderm just aren’t very descriptive on how this product works. Sure, we all know that anti aging serums are great and they work to help reduce wrinkles blah, blah, blah but how does it really work?

Lots of the skin care companies within the market go to what seems to be the ends of the earth in order to explain how their products work. However, that’s NOT what this does at all. Instead, they simply focus on the sales and marketing of the product versus the science and background of why it works. They use before and after photos as we as live demonstrations. That said, they don’t disclose how it works and what’s in it.

Based on my research, it seems as though the company may use something known as silicates which essentially help tighten the skin or at least make it look tighter on the surface.

This ingredient is something that you might be familiar with if you’ve used those breathing strips in the past. The ingredient is quite similar to the main ingredient used in this product. The premise of it being in Plexaderm is to kick your skin into tightening mode.

Buying It – What Does Plexaderm Cost?

Are you interested in purchasing this product still? If so, you’ll want to check out Amazon.com before anywhere else. The truth is that I wasn’t really able to find any other reliable place to purchase this product. My suggestion stands firm, if you want to buy this you should only do so on Amazon.com and nowhere else.

If you do decide to purchase this on Amazon, just be sure to do so via an authorized retailer and not some shady storefront. You will not find this available in any physical stores.

If you take a close look at the current Amazon listing the product is currently available from the company Plexaderm and lots of people actually buy it.

As for the cost of the product, it was once more than $100 but is now available for $69.95 which is a reasonable price for rapid eye cream. I can say that it’s more expensive than Elite Serum Rx. The product is showing as being 42% off. I mean, that’s a HUGE saving unless it’s simply a pricing strategy and tactic. Tough to say really.

The Ingredients

I was able to find a list of ingredients used in this product. I’m not sure how accurate it is but it’s better than nothing. Based on the Amazon listing, they’ve listed the following ingredients as being those that are included in the Plexaderm product.

Water (Aqua), Sodium Silicate, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Cellulose Gum, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Yellow 5 (CI 19140), Red 40 (CI 16035), Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin.

Some of the more important ingredients are listed below:

Sodium Silicate – This is the main ingredient in this product and it’s the stuff that makes it work. Basically, it tightens your skin up to help you achieve the desired look. No, it is NOT a permanent thing by any means.

Cyclomethicone – This is a silicone and it’s often used in skin care products. It helps provide a smooth texture to the product.

Dimethicone – Another ingredient that’s used quite often in silicone and conditioner products.

Plexaderm-amazon-rankings

Now, the average Amazon customer review is pretty bad at a 2.4 out of 5.0 but the product is ranked #4 of all eye creams on Amazon. That’s pretty darn impressive if you ask me!

The Amazon listing displays the product as being the official Plexaderm Rapid Reduction Cream PLUS. They have a few videos on the storefront page with one sharing information on how to apply Plexaderm. I should also mention that the company offers 2-day shipping and even next day shipping if you’re eligible for that.

Conclusion: Should You Buy Plexaderm?

My honest opinion is that you should go for it ONLY if you have the money to spare. $69.95 isn’t a lot but it’s also not a small amount of money today. Assuming that you’re looking for a product that Skincare.net can confidently recommend, then you might want to stick with the SkinPro products versus this one. Now, if you do decide to try this product, let us know how it pans out!
