Pearlessence Review

Once again I’m here to share some information about another skin care company that I recently came across. You know, I’m a bargain shopper and given that I’m always looking for deals, I look for skin care goodies wherever I go. That said, I often end up at discount stores such as Marshalls, Nordstrom Rack, and TJ Maxx. I recently spotted the Pearlessence brand at one of these discount stores and decided to dive into things a bit further.

I can tell you right now that I know for a fact that I’m not the only one here that tries to find deals. This brand, in particular, is one that many people turn to as an alternative to expensive skin care brands. They’ve been known to mimic or replicate the high-end brands in order to appeal to those with a smaller budget. That alone is enough of a reason to take a closer look at the products and see how they line up with the rest.

I’ve done my best to cover a lot of ground here, so be sure to keep reading. Whatever you do, don’t go buying Pearlessence products until you spend some time reading this and you get a better understanding as to what you’re getting into.

Pearlessence reviewDetails About The Pearlessence Brand

The Pearlessence skin company and brand is one that seems to be out there but not all that well-known as of yet. It’s one that you’ll most likely find on the shelves at discount stores throughout America. You’ll find that the brand offers a lot of different types of products and most of them are replicas or copycat like products of more expensive brands that most cannot afford.

Let me give you an example of what I’m talking about. The company has a mist spray that’s meant to help rejuvenate the skin on your face. It’s called the Coconut Water Hydrating Facial Mist and it is quite similar to the Mario Badescu Facial Spray which is much higher in price. They, of course, are not 100% the same, but they do bode similar properties for sure.

The company creates lots of types of facial mists, oils, and even face masks. I’ll cover the various products shortly. But first, I’ll say that all of the products have been created for daily use and to help revitalize consumers skin. Aside from the masks which are typically not meant to be used daily but weekly instead.

The Website

Now, I know you’re not going to like this but I hate it when skin care companies don’t have official websites. I had a heck of a time trying to find the website for this skin care brand. In fact, I wasn’t able to locate it. It wasn’t until I literally typed in pearlessence.com into my browser that I was redirected to the official company site, jocottbrands.com.

The corporate website showcases a lot of products and I did some digging until I finally found all the Pearlessence products. For those interested in not wasting time, I suggest visiting the official website and navigating on the left sidebar to the Pearlessence brand. The page will reload and you’ll see all the products that you’ve been looking for.

I didn’t realize they had so many products until I took the time to research. They have 50+ items which they sell on the corporate website. Now, the site is outdated for sure, but there is some good to it. They provide contact information which is key and crucial whenever you start using a new skin care product. I’ve done the work for you and shared the contact info should you need to reach out to them.

Amazon Listings

The company also sells products on Amazon.com but I’m guessing that they don’t sell very many considering the listings are not all that great. They don’t provide much information on the Amazon listings and had they put more time and effort into each of them, my guess is that they will sell more products via the listings.

Each product listing only showcases a small amount of information which isn’t going to do much for the company at all, to be frank. It’s super competitive and consumers want information before buying anything today. I took a look at the PearlEssence Coconut Water Hydrating Face Mist and learned that it has a great rating on Amazon and a top 100 ranking under Face Mists but the lack of information is what hurts the most I’d say.

Who Should Buy This Brand?

The brand is primarily meant to be used by people that are looking for a simple and cost-effective skin care treatment. One that’s somewhat natural and has nice ingredients but isn’t going to break the bank.

Back To Individual Products

It’s important to cover products and everything that a product can do for your skin. Afterall, that’s exactly why I’m writing this review. I’ll cover some of the specific products and what you need to know before purchasing them.

Kicking things off, there’s the Argan + Vitamin E Treatment Oil. This is an oil which helps keep your skin hydrated by delivering none other than vitamin E and argan oil. It’s a good option for those struggling with under-eye issues as well as hair issues. This costs $17 and should be applied to clean skin only. A full list of ingredients is not available.

pearlessence-vitamin-e-argan-oilNext on the list is that Detoxifying Mask – Aloe + Charcoal. The product is very affordable at $12 and can be purchased directly on the corporate website. It contains charcoal and aloe, both of which are great for drawing out toxins and soothing your skin. The charge of the mask actually helps draw out the toxins. Simply apply the mask to your dry skin and leave it on for ten minutes. Once done, rinse and go on with your day.

Another product is the Face Mist Cucumber Water. This 8oz spray runs $20 and it’s a refreshing mist that comes from a fusion of botanical extracts and herbal extract. It is meant to help add water to your slightly dehydrated skin and should be applied after cleansing before using any type of moisturizer. We’re huge fans of cucumbers so it’s no┬ásurprise that we like this.

There are LOTS of other products which Pearlessence sells and if you’re looking for options, they got you covered right here. However, be sure to speak with your dermatologist before taking any action and buying the products.
