If you’re anything like the rest of the consumers looking for skin care solutions, then you’re looking for something that’s simple, effective and reasonably priced. Sound about right? I’m sure! So are we, and that’s why we’ve taken the time to review a brand called The Panacea Skincare. The brand is a Korean skin care brand, which seems to be trendy hard these days.
While most skin care brands are marketed towards women only, this one is different. They take a far broader approach to creating an audience that’s not gender specific. That’s what Panacea is all about. Simply put, it’s a gender-neutral Korean skin line that has a product range for everyone.
Rid your brain of the notion that only women care about their skin. That’s the biggest bunch of bologna. Everyone wants nice looking skin and all types of people are willing to do what it takes to achieve that look. If you’re looking to do some self-pampering, then perhaps you should think about jumping into a Panacea product. Korean skin care has grown significantly over the years.
Just how much you ask? Well, the numbers don’t lie…
These Google trends show just how popular this has become and I don’t see any sign of it slowing down. At first, the movement catered to pale women, now it caters to everyone under the sun.
The kick with Panacea is that they’ve been able to reduce the typical 10-step Korean skin care process to only three simple steps.
Why You Might Consider The Panacea Skincare Line
Assuming you’re not biased against products not gender specific, then this might be the answer to your long K-beauty routine. This brand not only tosses out the window but it completely dismantles the norms of skin care as we know it.
Guess what? We’re all for it here – so kudos to them!
If you’ve ever balked at the notion of doing some korean skin beauty routine because it took hours to do, then this may change your tune. It’s about as simple as it gets via the product consolidation process that Panacea commits to doing.
All you likely need is in one simple kit – The Aegis Kit
What Is The Aegis Kit?
The Aegis Kit is a skin care kit that consists of three simple products. It’s a root of all things K-Beauty and for less than $100. Here’s what you need to know about the kit before adventuring into the product use. The kit provides everything that you need, nothing more and nothing less. That’s exactly what the company has stated on their website. Each of the product formulas consists of ingredients of premium quality and they’ve been formulated in none other than Korea. The products are intended for everyday use and the full kit contains the following…
- 100mL Facial Cleanser
- 50mL Facial Moisturizer
- 50mL Facial SPF
They are meant for people that have normal or combination skin. If you travel alot, you’ll be happy to learn that this product line is 100% TSA-Friendly.
Interested in trying out the products? Then great, this is what you need to know about them. I’ll cover each of them one at a time.
Daily Facial Cleanser
The first step is to use the cleanser. This is a sulfate-free cleanser that foams up and works well without taking too much from the skin. It’s a sulfate free product that contains some major ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and coconut oil.
Moisture Shield Complex – contains hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and something called methylpropanediol.
Green Tea Extract – This is filled with antioxidants which help free the skin to soften things.
Gotu Kola – This ingredient contains fatty acids, aminos, and beta-carotene. You’ll also find phytochemicals in this ingredient. Yes, they all help improve your skin.
Algae Extract – The algae helps brighten your skin and make it firmer.
Fig Extract – This helps better hydrate your skin and tighten up and enlarged pores.
Full list of ingredients: Glycerin, Myristic Acid, Water/Aqua/Eau, Methylpropanediol, Potassium Cocoyl Glycinate, Potassium Hydroxide, Stearic Acid, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Lauric Acid, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, PEG-40 Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, PEG-14M, Tocopheryl Acetate, Centella Asiatica Extract, Ficus Carica (Fig) Fruit Extract, Laminaria Japonica Extract, Eclipta Prostrata Leaf Extract, Dipropylene Glycol, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Water, Trisodium EDTA, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Polyquaternium-39, 1,2-Hexanediol, Fructooligosaccharides, Butylene Glycol, Beta-Glucan, Lecithin, Raffinose, Ceramide NP, Folic Acid, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Tromethamine, Panthenol, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4, Fragrance (Parfum).
This single product costs $22 – very affordable for a good quality cleanser.
Daily Facial Moisturizer
The second step is to use the Daily Facial Moisturizer which costs $46.00. This step helps consumers boost moisture levels and smooth out the skin like never before. The step is considered to be the “replenish” phase of this condensed Korean beauty routine. They’ve got a tone of great reviews posted on the company website on this product. That tells me that it’s most likely effective as it gets.
Using the product is simple as pie. All you need to do is take a couple of pumps of the product, place it into clean washed hands and begin to massage it into your facial area and neck region. Best practice is to apply this twice daily (AM and PM). Like step one, this is TSA-friendly for travel convenience.
The main actives in this product are actually similar to the first product with a slight variation.
Moisture Shield Complex – This has that complex too which is great for your skin.
Vitamin E – We love vitamin E! Almost every skincare.net fan likes it too. Winner, winner, chicken dinner especially if you’re looking to prevent damage from UV light exposure.
Shea Butter – A popular ingredient for sure, this helps soften the skin.
Fig Extract – Same as above, it hydrates the skin and improves your pores.
Laminaria Japonica – This ingredient was new to me but sounds awesome. It’s a Japanese seaweed that helps reduce toxin levels and makes your skin glow. Shine bright like a diamond? Why not right!
