Since it’s Monday, I might as well try and best relate to the dedicated readers of Skincare.net. There’s no better way to do that aside from sharing some skin facts that we can all relate to. If you’re the type that’s been battling skin issues, specifically oily skin for a long period of time, then you know how dreadful it can be. Scroll through Instagram at any point in time and you’ll likely come across some pics that if not for the fancy filters and photo touch-ups they’d scream oily skin to the fullest extent. One thing that sucks about real life is that there aren’t any filters.

Anyway, if you’re like have of the girls out there, then you know just how much of a pain in the butt oily skin can be. It’s embarrassing at times, bothersome, and downright awful on the worst end of the spectrum. However, I want you to know that you’re not alone when it comes to dealing with this type of skin. That said, there are problems that only those with oily skin would understand. Good news for you, I’m going to help brings us closer together by sharing some of these issues with you. Common Oily Skin Problems We All Know Too Well
I’m going to keep this simple by sharing a rundown of some of the most common problems that girls with oily skin have to deal with. I guess it’s not just girls, as guys deal with some as well. However, since most men don’t wear makeup, then lots of these things won’t necessarily be applicable. Here’s a list of common problems oily faced girls deal with in 2018.
One of the biggest complaints is that sunglasses won’t stay on your face due to it being to oily. It’s like a slip and slide for your shades. Sounds terrible, that’s because it most certainly is. Just be sure to wear them since they help with sun protection.
Your purse is a haven for blotting paper and by the end of the week, they’ve been utilized to the fullest extent. Hey, if you buy them you might as well use them, right?
Most people with oily skin look forward to the winter time thinking their skin is going to look somewhat normal. Truth be told, that forehead is still as greasy as it was before the season changed.
Speaking of seasons, summer is dreadful for most people sporting oily skin. Why? Because they can’t even leave the house of an iced coffee with oily skin taking over their face in a matter of minutes. We’ve all been there before and sometimes it’s just something we must learn to live with at that moment in time.
I know everyone can relate to this one. We all spend way too much money at Sephora, ULTA, Nordstrom, CVS and even QVC looking for “the fix” and there’s no one answer to this.
Another thing girls with oily skin can relate to is being able to laugh at the silly bold claims that some of these makeup companies try to make. The makeup holds up all day and night! Bahaha, not even close.
Shiny isn’t your middle name but unfiltered pics have said otherwise. Again, not poking fun here just calling it like it is. I’ve been there and can speak my mind.
Here’s a fun fact that I know you can relate to if you’ve got oily skin. The weekend rolls around and instead of hitting the bar for some drinks, you spend the night wearing charcoal masks trying to “fix things” and recuperate from a rough week.
One of the main problems that oily skin girls have to deal with is clogged pores and easy acne breakouts. If you’ve fallen victim to these things, then I feel for you.
Last but not least, the one thing that we can all relate to with regards to oily skin is that it’s the worst and once you think you’ve got it under control, something goes wrong.
It happens every time, without fail.
