Maelove Glow Maker Serum

I’m a sucker for serums, seriously. There are so many out there and it’s probably my favorite product to review. Why? Well, it’s convenient, typically affordable, and easy to apply. Oh, let me not forget that it’s actually effective as well. Today’s review covers a brand that was developed by some folks at MIT. The brand is called Maelove and the product is the Glow Maker serum. It’s a formula which has been specially formulated and packaged into a convenient serum which helps improve your skin condition. Consumers have been able to improve the brightness of their skin, their overall complexion, boost their hydration levels and so much more.

Maelove Review

If you’re itching to get your hands on the product, then you’re out of luck because the first batch is actually sold out. Now, if you’re that adamant about trying it out, then you can pre-order the product and Maelove will contact you once it’s available.

Sure, they might have an inventory issue, but we’re not going to let that stop us from reviewing the company and product. Here’s what you need to know about Maelove and how it can help improve your skin.

Just What Exactly Is Maelove Glow Maker Serum?

Well, as far as the brand, Maelove is the result of some MIT students getting together while in college and creating a brand out of sheer necessity and research. The brand has since migrated over to San Francisco where things are really kicking up a notch to the tune where the product is literally sold out. Specifically, the Glow Maker is the pilot product that Maelove created and it can help protect your skin as you age. That is, assuming you’re working in a nice skin care routine, just like Kim K.W. does, which you’re religiously following these days.

Many people like to shun or avoid serums and I can’t for the life of me figure out why. Instead, they opt for some invasive plastic surgery or botox injections. All instead of just putting in a small amount of effort on a daily basis. The use of any serum including the Maelove Glow Maker is likely less expensive and more effective in the long run.

Pre-Orders Only

At this point in time, the company is only accepting pre-orders for the product. That means we’ve not had a chance to purchase and test the serum. However, we didn’t want to let that stop us from reviewing the product. Sure, typically we try them but when we cannot get our hands on the product, we still do our best to report what we can.

That said, we’ve got some feedback from consumers that have used the Maelove Glow Maker Serum. It seems like many of the big beauty publications out there speak very highly of this product. Sites like Refinery29 support the product and given their insane influence on the marketplace, we stand by them as well.

If you take a look at the claims on the company website, you’ll notice that the product’s supposed to help support an individual’s skin structure and complexion. In fact, it’s often used to simply enhance the complexion of someone.

The Ingredients

Most skin care sites do not disclose all their ingredients, but Maelove holds nothing back. They’ve covered everything from A-Z in terms of all ingredients they’ve used. If you’re looking for a full list of ingredients, then just take a peek below and you’ll find it.

But first:

I’ll cover some of the most influential ingredients incorporated into the product.

Vitamin C – A staple of many skin care serums, this vitamin delivers time and time again helping with the cell repair process and boosting the strength of your skin overall.

Vitamin E – Another major player in the skin care industry. This helps create that smooth skin complexion that you’re looking to achieve.

Hyaluronic Acid – It wouldn’t be a serum if this wasn’t included. It’s great for maintaining moisture levels and protecting the skin barrier. Read this page for more on this ingredient.

Ferulic Acid – This helps by removing toxins from your skin which cause it to look dull, tired, and gray.

Did I mention that they have also added a proprietary blend to the product of Vitis Vinifera, Aloe, Aurantium Dulcis, and Magnolia. This helps too.

Here’s a full list of ingredients:

There are lots of other products out there that incorporate these ingredients, but this one works just as well. If you’re looking for other options, perhaps you can think about using SkinPro products – check them out here.

How To Use This Product

Based on my research, the site doesn’t display specific instructions on how to use this. What I can say is that it can be applied just like any typical skin serum by applying it to your clean skin prior to makeup application.

A couple other things I like about this brand are that Maelove is cruelty-free and vegan. It’s also free of parabens, SLS, dyes, and fragrances. Last but not least, it’s made right here in the United States.

The Website

I decided to dive further into the website. They’ve basically shared everything you need to know about this site. The industry publications that back the product, a note from the CEO, 200+ consumer reviews, a couple of email addresses to reach out to people, the 100 day return policy and more.

Conclusion: Maelove Caught My Interest

No doubt about it, the Maelove serum caught my eye and interest. I’ll be pre-ordering this to further review in the near future. I’m all about supporting businesses that are driven by smart, educated people that have a goal in mind and a product that they stand behind. That said, I’m going to suggest that you look further into this brand as well. The one thing that really attracts me to this brand is the fact that they don’t waste money. Instead, they invest it in research and development. They also don’t seem to spend lots of money on flashy packaging etc which allows them to keep the product affordable.
