Tom Brady may not be playing in Super Bowl 50 this weekend, but Robert Kraft and The Kraft Group are still hoping to score a touchdown as the returning investor in the A2 funding of a skin care line called Silk Therapeutics.
Kraft Group Funds Silk Skin Care Company
The Kraft Group has been known as being big winners when it comes to the game of business. They’ve got a number of ventures that the private equity firm is involved in and one of them is a skin care company called Silk Therapeutics. The Kraft Group has just provided the company with $6 million worth of funding.
According to the Boston Business Journal, there are a number of investors that have already participated in other financing rounds for the company based out of Medford, MA.
In fact, the skin care company has raised over $10 million in an attempt to continue to further advance their existing products that were created to treat those with extremely sensitive skin. The company holds a patent on the silk molecule that’s used in their products and they are planning on launching many more products this year. Silk products are currently manufactured in the Medford headquarters. Don’t be surprised if you see a Silk sunscreen on the market come summertime as well.
If you’re undergoing chemotherapy or you’re pregnant and are extra cautious about the products you are using on your skin, you can check them out. Who knows what’s to happen here. If it’s the result of anything else Robert Kraft is involved in then it could be a winner. I can’t say for sure though, we’ll see. If Tom Brady starts using it maybe I’ll think about giving it a try. Until then, I’ll stick to my go to skin care products.
If Tom Brady starts using it maybe I’ll think about giving it a try. Until then, I’ll stick to my go to skin care products. Once you find a formula that works for you, that’s when you start winning. Take the same approach to your own skin and health that Tom Brady does with everything he does and you’ll be a winner just like him and the rest of The Kraft Group.
