Julianne Moore Uses Paprika?!?!

We know that Julianne Moore is addicted to Twitter, but is it possible that she’s also addicted to a spice that’s often left untouched on the spice rack. No, I’m not saying that she’s addicted to paprika, LOL. But it turns out that she’s probably a user of the spice and for good reasons so it seems. According to the celebs facialist, Joanna Vargas, paprika, “Helps flush out impurities from the tissue and increase circulation,” and “It also helps even out pigment and strengthen the elasticity while protecting against photo aging.” While you may not have known that this spice was so powerful, the important thing is that you’re aware now!

According to an article posted in Allure, paprika is loaded with lots of vitamins and minerals. Those same vitamins and minerals are what give many of the Lousiana creole-based dishes that spicy kick. Those same vitamins and minerals in the paprika are very beneficial for your skin, working as antibacterials as well as anti-inflammatories.

How To Use Paprika To Moisturize Your Skin

If you are interested in incorporating paprika into your skin care routine, you can start by taking the following steps below to create a paprika mask.

Ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon Paprika
1 teaspoon Raw Honey
1 Avocado

Steps:
1) Mix a slice of avocado, 1 teaspoon of honey and 1/2 teaspoon of paprika in a mixing bowl
2) Clean and thoroughly dry your face before applying the recently mixed concoction
3) Rub the mixture on your face doing so carefully to avoid any contact with your eyes
4) Leave the mask on your face for 15 minutes
5) Rinse and pat your face dry
6) Apply your favorite face cream or moisturizer to your dry clean face

Now, if you don’t want to go through the hassle of creating this DIY skin mask, you can simply increase your intake consumption of paprika. I recommend adding them to deviled eggs, hummus or even just a salad. The important thing is that you consume it daily. If it’s recommended for Julianne Moore then there’s a pretty good chance that it’s also good for you to start incorporating into your daily routine.
