I came across another skin care brand today. This one happens to be a brand established in the late 80s in Canada. The skin care company is called Isomers Skincare. I immediately became interested in this company once I found out about the back story associated with it. The company was founded by Manuela Marcheggianni, a woman who struggled with acne issues herself for years. Apparently, Manuela began by creating skin care products that she could use herself to help treat her own skin.
As time passed on, many of Manuela Marcheggianni’s friends were interested in trying the formulas out. She didn’t just out of the blue decide to create these formulas. Manuela personally spent time reading up on skin care studies and treatments while studying in college. Friends soon became intrigued and Isomers soon followed. The company prides itself on being able to treat many issues with regards to acne, however, there are some more serious issues that may require professional help.
Does Isomers Skin Care Really Work?
Opposed to many of the brands today, Isomers does not take a simple “one-way” approach when creating their products. What do I mean by that? Well, they don’t only create a certain type of product using certain types of ingredients. For example, Isomers doesn’t create all organic based products and they don’t only focus on one ingredient such as CBD oil or ascorbic acid.
Instead, the company combines multiple ingredients to create formulas for their products. They may at times incorporate herbal, organic, and even chemical-based products. They take a synergistic approach to skin care, which is something that most companies are not doing today.
If you want to learn about some of the ingredients that the Isomers products contain, then I suggest you head over to the official company website to learn more about them. It’s important that you research ingredients and have a thorough understanding of them before using any products. Who knows, maybe one of the products has an ingredient that you’re allergic to using.
Popular Isomers Skin Care Products
Here are a few of the most popular products that Manuela has formulated over the years. She, of course, has plenty of other products but there are what I know to be the most popular.
Daily Exfoliating Serum
The Daily Exfoliating Serum seems to be one of the hottest products that is a part of the line. It’s said to help revitalize your skin and kickstart things. The serum is specifically meant for refreshing the skin. This product contains both AHA and BHA which are both known to help with skin cell renewal. In fact, I believe the product contains the highest concentration on the market. It’s meant to be used daily for those that need to remove dry skin or revitalize saggy skin.
The product contains:
Matrixyl 3000 Rejuvenation Serum
This is an anti aging serum that contains palmitoyl tetrapepide-7 and palmitoyl oligopeptide in a peptide blended formula. The formula is said to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and make your skin look smooth as possible. The product contains Matrixyl 3000, flax seed extract, Bio Peptide CL and more.
There ae plenty of benefits of incorporating Matrixyl 3000 into your skin care routine. It’s said to be an advanced formula of Matrixyl which is an anti wrinkle and skin rejuvenating formula. A full list of ingredients have been provided below:
(Linseed) Seed Extract
Lip Hydrating and Protecting Balm
Another product that seems to be quite popular is the lip balm. I’ve actually written a piece on chapsticks for men, so I know quite a bit about these ingredients. What this does is quite simple. It literally helps better protect your lips from harsh environmental elements. Weather can be a factor in keeping your lips from chapping. When you can’t control the weather, you must protect your lips from becoming excessively dry. This inexpensive lip balm contains shea butter, lavender, and vitamin E, all of which are known for being great for your lips. A full list of ingredients has been provided below:
Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil
Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter Extract
Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter
Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Phenoxyethanol
For only $4.00, how can you not jump on this deal really!
Isomers Side Effects
It’s not very common for someone to have serious side effects from using Isomers products. However, some of the ingredients may cause your skin to become irritated. In the event that you have any specific sensitivities, I’d suggest that you fully investigate this trying anything out.
Buying The Products
Many of the Isomers skin care products can be purchased in the convenience of your own home. Simply visit the company website and make your purchase through the most reputable method possible. I do not condone buying skin care products on third-party sites. Often, it’s nothing more than a common scam, to be honest!
The company does offer a few products for men as well. The good news is that they understand how different men’s skin is from women. These four products that they carry might be worth looking into if you are a guy and you’re having some skin issues. They sell a facial serum, eye serum, moisture cream, and a shaving cream & cleanser. I’d personally start with the shave cream & cleansing.
Lastly, if you visit the company website, you’ll notice that they have suggested routines based on your age, acne type, and skin condition in general.
