There’s been quite a bit of talk about a new product and brand that just recently hit the market. No, it’s not your typical over the counter eye cream, nor is it some prescription that costs hundreds of dollars. It’s just oil. Well, eye oil that is! While there are certainly some incredibly effective eye creams on the market today, I wanted to learn more about this eye oil brand. That’s why I dove in head first to investigate things.
A New Eye Oil Might Be Replacing Creams For Good
Let’s face it, not enough people use eye creams, eye serums, or eye products to begin with. They think that simply applying their face moisturizer just below their eyes is sufficient enough. I’m sorry my friend, that’s most definitely not the case. I’m not going to sit here and try to make a case for all the eye products on the market. I’m here to talk to you about Uma Oil. It’s just what it sounds like, it’s an oil that’s meant to help prevent dehydration from occurring in the under-eye region. Did I mention that it’s supposed to do a better job than traditional moisturizer and eye creams?
According to the founder, Shrankhla Holecek, claims that 1,000 years of research has gone into this oil. In fact, the essential oils are so good, they’re supplying it to brands like Tom Ford and even Estee Lauder.
Her knowledge and access to potent essential oils drove her to create what’s known as Uma’s Absolute Anti Aging Eye Oil ($105). The eye oil is made from a combination of 14 oils. Contrary to what most think when they hear the term “oil,” this product simply seals and traps moisture in your skin. Dry skin can be the biggest issue when it comes to eye wrinkles. Uma’s eye oil product is said to help with that. While I can’t say whether or not this is truly going to replace eye creams, I can say that the theory of it and perhaps the application does prove to be a good option.
However, I want to make one thing very clear here. There’s a difference between eye creams, serums, and oils. In my personal opinion, eye serums are the way to go based on my experience. I haven’t had a chance to try the Uma Absolute Anti Aging Eye Oil as of yet. If I do, I just might have an entirely different opinion on it. Maybe I’ll follow up on this article once I try it out. After all, I’m no spring chicken anymore. Wrinkles and bags under my eyes are a daily battle. especially when you work the number of hours that I put in.
