I did as I do with every other product, ingredient, or treatment that I use, I looked it up first and foremost on the Internet. When searching for Idrotherapy, I found that there were hundreds of people searching for this brand and that there were overall very positive reviews on the Internet. For example, you’ll notice that Idrotherapy has a 4.7 rating on Google Shopping. The Amazon listing has a 3.8 rating on Amazon and both of those reviews are based on 45+ reviews which have been left by consumers. However, you cannot simply run with the fact that consumers think positively about this skin care brand. You need to think about things and do your own research to draw your own conclusions. Use the information provided below to make better decisions.
My Idrotherapy Review
In a quest to find the perfect anti-aging products, one may likely come across the Idrotherapy brand and the associated product which they manufacture. This company has a wrinkle reducing cream that’s said to boost collagen production in the skin, smoothing out wrinkles and improve the quality of your skin. The end result is to make your skin look more youthful.
If you dig into things, you’ll notice that there are some very interesting claims which are made by the company which states that the wrinkle cream is able to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and increases the thickness of the skin by about 9% after four months of use. I decided to look further into the company, the ingredients and the effectiveness of the anti-wrinkle cream. That’s all I’m trying to do here.
Idrotherapy is a Malta-based company, offering only one product – the wrinkle reducing cream. According to their website, their product has been formulated primarily for use of the people in Hollywood, CA. The company makes promises that the product works. The company also claims that their product has been created based on real science and it brings repairing effects on the structure and the function of the skin, improving its moisture level by up to 83%.
All of this information has been present to the public via their website. The company’s site is well designed and it offers plenty of information about the product. You’ll find a complete list of all ingredients. You will also find a lot of positive reviews and ratings on the website. The homepage of the site contains a lot of information, and there’s a claim made that this cream has been clinically tested to tone the skin and reduce wrinkles up to 45% after a single month of use.
Please be sure to keep that in mind when making a purchasing decision. At the end of the day, effectiveness plays the most important role of them all in my personal opinion.
As previously stated, the ingredients have been listed on the official website. These ingredients have been listed in order to better explain what the product can do for you, especially the active ingredients.
The product which Idrotherapy has created is aimed towards those looking to boost collagen production and increasing the thickness of their skin. All of this is done with two main active ingredients: Matrixyl and Renovage.
- Matrixyl is the name of the peptide complex Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4. This ingredient is used to stimulate the production of collagen. By improving collagen production, the skin fills in all the wrinkles, smoothing them out and ultimately resulting in a fresher look.
- Renovage is an ingredient that also increases the collagen production but is very different from Matrixyl. Renovage contains Teprenone, an ingredient that supposedly supports the life of fibroblasts, the collagen-producing cells; and the more fibroblasts, the more collagen produced.
The other ingredients you’ll find in the wrinkle reducing cream are pretty straightforward and are typically found in many other face creams. These include sodium hyaluronate, boron nitride, citrus fragrance, capryl glycol (also found in this), and others.
As said before, Idrotherapy offers only one product, the wrinkle reducing cream. On the official company website, one can find all the information about the product, along with the ingredient list and testimonials from users. The product seems to be well-liked for the most part and favorable by the majority of consumers who have used it.
Purchasing The Product
The Idrotherapy Wrinkle Reducer can be purchased only through the official company website and through Amazon. This is a little worrisome, as there is a serious discrepancy between the prices of the product on both websites but don’t let that prevent you from making a purchase.
The official company website lists the product as being $99.99 with free shipping at the time of writing this review. But the Amazon listing says that the price for the product is $28.49.
Here’s where I started seeing things that make me worry. The large price discrepancies are one concern, and another is the purchasing option. What I mean by that is that once you buy the product, you’re automatically subscribed to the auto-ship option and you will be charged about $110 every month moving forward. The unsubscribing is very tricky, and you only get 18 days to cancel. I’m guessing that most people that only wanted to try the product are angered, feel used and possibly cheated but that’s not for me to say.
This is why many negative reviews were published about the product. While there are some that are positive and there are people that are pleased with the product, there are people that feel cheated. Many don’t want to pay for a product that does not work for them and they don’t want to be automatically enrolled in this type of program.
Idrotherapy is a relatively new company, it was created in 2014 and makes only one product. The Wrinkle Reducer Cream is said to be very effective in increasing the thickness of the skin, boosting collagen production and increasing the life of the fibroblast cells that make collagen. The ingredient list offered on the website supports this claim.
But the selling options and the large difference in price points lead me to believe that more research should be done on this product/brand.
There’s a “free trial” option, but these usually have some future implied fees, and you can have problems canceling these types of orders. Feel free to give this a shot if you’re willing to try it out. My advice would be to buy it via Amazon to avoid the auto shipping program. Let me know how things pan out!
