Have you heard of the brand HydroPeptide? If not, it’s a skin care line that was created by Dr. Louise Peck. The company claims to use technology and more advanced methods versus the traditional methods of skin repair. If you take a closer look at the product, the company website, and the press releases, you’ll soon realize that the company incorporates a ton of various peptides into their formulas.
In fact, based on a statement written on the About Us section of the website, they utilize “60 peptides” in order to help vastly improve the condition of your skin. Dr. Louise Peck and HydroPeptide also incorporate the use of things like hyaluronic acid, growth factors, antioxidants, and other things that work effortlessly at the cellular level in hopes of improving your overall skin. The question is whether or not the products are able to actually help improve your skin condition.
With regards to the peptides, some of the more popular peptides that you may be familiar with are Matrixyl 3000, Argireline, Syn-Coll, Syn-Ake, Trylagen and so much more. I could spend days just listing out all the various peptides incorporated into the product formulas.
What Does HydroPeptide Offer?
The brand offers a variety of different products. A few of the most popular products within the line are the HydroPeptide Anti-Wrinkle Dark Circle Concentrate Eye Cream, Even Brighter Skin Lightening System, Lip Plumper, Eye Authority, Daily Resurfacing Pads, Power Lift Ultra-Rich Moisturizer and much more.
We haven’t personally tried all these products as we simply don’t have the time to fun full lab tests on each of them. However, what we can do is share some personal thoughts and observations based on what we know about the product.
Let’s start with cost because at the end of the day, unfortunately, that’s what most people are concerned with more so than anything. I know, it doesn’t make sense but that’s the way it is.
That being said, the products typically cost anywhere from $50 to $200 each. For some, that might be a bit pricey and for others, it may be completely out of their price range. However, not all products are overpriced. Take for example the Eye Authority Dark Circle Serum. The cost for this is $76.00 but most eye serums run about that or even more.
At the end of the day, what matters are results. Now, some people are not willing to pay for those results and that’s fine, but that doesn’t mean that something doesn’t work or should be rated poorly because it’s expensive.
What Are People Saying Online?
We did a few searches online and quickly determined that some people absolutely love HydroPeptide. If you take a close look at some of the reviews, you’ll notice that Dermstore.com has rated the company a 4.7 out of 5.0. The HydroPeptide Facebook page has a 4.0 out of 5.0 rating with 40,000+ likes. Last but not least, the Amazon.com product rating for the Face Lift Moisturizer is a 4-star rating.
The only real negative review that we read for HydroPeptide was on Glassdoor, which is a company and salary website. Unfortunately, they only received a 2.9 out of 5.0 stars and all based on only 6 reviews.

Anything To Worry About?
Honestly, there is always something to worry about when it comes to skin care and using new products. You simply have no idea how your skin is going to react to a product and the ingredients in formulas. Therefore, you should always be nervous or aware of any significant changes that might take place within your body. Should you have any medical issues arise as a result of topically applying a product, then you need to let your dermatologist know immediately. If by chance you have issues breathing, then it’s imperative that you contact your doctor immediately and head to the hospital.
Last but not least, always remember that skin care products such as those manufactured by HydroPeptide are not for internal consumption. They are to be applied topically only! Should you ingest any of the products, contact 911 immediately.
