Tips For Keeping You Rosacea In Check

If you’re battling this awfully annoying condition, then these simple tips should help. There are lots of things that you can do to keep your skin looking and feeling perfect. At least better than not doing anything at all I guess. No reason to waste more time, I’ll get right into things…

The very first thing that you need to consider is your product choices. The best thing that you can do is to use products that are meant for sensitive skin. My suggestion would be to begin to start incorporating a moisturizing cream in order to prevent blemishes and rosacea from developing.

Another thing that you need to do is keep the “pitta” energy to a minimum in your body. I’ll fill you in on the meaning of this term if you’re not familiar with it. The term pitta is derived from ayurveda which means “heat.” You’ll want to keep the heat levels to a minimum and there are actually a couple of ways that you can do this. I’d start by making an effort to avoid caffeine and alcohol as much as possible. You’ll also want to keep your diet clean and free from processed foods. Trust me, avoiding the heat definitely helps.

This tip is strange but so true, you’ll want to meditate daily. If you meditate every day, you will begin to notice that your skin will begin to clear up. It has everything to do with reducing stress levels and keeping the nervous system calm as possible. The lower the stress levels, the less susceptible you are to breaking out and ultimately developing rosacea.

If you’re not doing workouts daily, then you’re not doing it wrong. However, if you’re dealing with rosacea, then you’ll want to do light workouts, not anything that’s intense like Crossfit or circuit training. Instead, you should try yoga, walking on an incline, and even Pilates. All of these types of exercises are good for your skin and they keep your rosacea to a minimum. In fact, they reduce the chances of developing rosacea.

This last tip is a very important one for sure. If you’re looking to keep your rosacea under control and your skin in tip-top shape in general, then you need to protect it from the sun. Using SPF can help keep your skin in good condition. It’s especially important to protect your skin if you’re dealing with rosacea and other skin conditions.

There are products that you can incorporate daily to help keep your rosacea to a minimum. There are lots of anti-redness solutions out there to consider. Elemis has a daily redness reduction product to use daily.

Eucerin Night Creme

Eucerin has a night cream that you can consider using. Cetaphil has a daily facial moisturizer which contains SPF to consider using. There are also prescriptions that you can consider using such as Rhofade.

That should help you get your rosacea under control with some of the treatments and techniques out there. The only thing that I know for certain will not work is not taking any action or doing anything at all.
