I’ve seen some downright disturbing homemade skin care products in my time. Many of the homemade serums are nothing but a bunch of bologna, not literally, figuratively. Anyway, most of the time I tend to lean towards the traditional methods of purchasing a trusty product from your local skin care spa or cosmetics store. Well, that’s all about to change today.
We’re constantly chasing natural skin care lines in order to find the perfect product that’s going to change the world just for us. Am I right? Of course, I’m right! Admit it, you’ve spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars trying to look and feel your absolute best.
Have you tried making your own homemade face serum? Well, if you’ve neglected to do so, I’m going to share a recipe that I came across recently. It’s jammed with essential oils, which seem to be trending pretty hard these days. As the demand for organic skin care options increases, more people tend to open up and try new things within the home. They look towards everyday products to help create a potion that fits the mold. Most of the time they fail.
Not today friends! No failing for you at all! All you need today are a few essential oils and some guts to change the world, I mean your face!
Before you start getting extremely frugal on me, I want you to pay close attention. You’re going to have to shell out roughly $100 for the ingredients, but the longevity and usage out of them is amazing. Head to the local Whole Foods or some natural organic shop nearby. Look for rosehip oil, vitamin E oil, helichrysum essential oil, geranium essential oil, myrrh essential oil, frankincense essential oil, jojoba oil. Each bottle should cost roughly $10 each. Buy them all.
Now what you’ll want to do is mix the following together:
2 tbs jojoba oil
1.5 tbs rosehip oil
0.25 tsp vitamin E oil
2 drops Frankincense essential oil
2 drops helichrysum essential oil
2 drops myrrh essential oil
2 drops geranium essential oil
Take all those essential oils and place them in a glass bottle with a dropper top. Shake the mixture well! Now, you’ll want to apply a quarter dropper to a half dropper to your face after washing it completely in the evening.
Chances are you’ll see improvement if you do this procedure on a daily basis. Let me know how it goes. You’ve got nothing to lose in trying it out. Once thing I would suggest is that you test a small part of your skin to make sure you don’t have any allergic reaction towards the essential oils.
Special thanks to the Organic Authority site for sharing this new face serum recipe with me. Let me know how you make out!
