We know just how popular vitamins for hair growth are today. Which is exactly why we’ve gone out of our way to cover just about everything that we know about them. If you’re a fan of the Kardashian girls or you’re a habitual Instagram user, then you might come across one or two users showing off their hair and products from time to time.

It’s trending harder than ever before! My guess is that you’ll eventually want to learn more about these hair vitamins, so why not start now.

Here’s what I’m going to do for you today. I’ve decided to share all the top hair vitamins that you’re bound to see people flaunting all over Instagram these days.

Best Hair Vitamins of 2017 / 2018

I know that you’re likely super sketched out about taking vitamins to improve your hair, but I’m telling you that it’s a rage that many people are jumping all over today.

These are looked highly upon many IG users based on the feedback and comments that I see shared all over the platform. While it’s not everyday that a new hair vitamin emerges, I like to take the time and showcase those that do look somewhat promising. At a minimum, I want you to know what’s available out there today and what you can expect to see in your Instagram feed.

Sugar Bear Hair

I’m kicking things off with what I would call the most popular Instagram brand on the planet today. Yes, I’m referring to the infamous SugarBearHair gummies. These are cute little blue gummy bears that are supposed to be the best tasting gummy vitamins on this planet.

The interesting thing about these gummies is that the very first ingredient listed on the bottle is sugar. Of course it’s going to taste great given that it contains sugar. Yes, there are other ingredients that are included in this product. The supplement contains the following ingredients:

Vitamin C
Vitamin A
Vitamin B
Vitamin E
Folic Acid
Coconut Oil

The coconut oil addition is one that many of the other hair vitamins have excluded. I’m not sure why, but they have. It’s supposed to be great for your scalp.

A lot of people have great things to say about this vitamin. The main takeaways seems to be that the Vitamin A is the powerhouse that helps keep your scalp well moisturized and the vitamin E helps keep it feeling nice and thick. One of the biggest takeaways seems to be the iodine that the product contains. This has something to do with hormone levels and fighting off hair loss. Others suggest that it’s the zinc that helps you maintain strength within the follicle itself, helping it grow over a longer period of time without breaking.

Warning, if you’re prone to acne breakouts, you might want to be careful with this product. It’s said to cause blemishes and breakouts initially due to the sugar and idoine levels.

Looking to purchase this product? You can pick it up on the official website or on for a low $29.99.

Ouai Hair Supplements

This is another super popular product that you’ve likely seen people flaunting and showcasing all over Instagram. The influencers love this product (so it seems). Nope, they are not gummies like the Sugar Bear Hair treats but they are just as popular. This supplement line was created by Jen Atkin. Apparently, Kim Kardashian uses her hair supplements and admitted to doing so on the Ellen Show. Here’s the clip where she talks about all this during the taping.

Anyway, moving right along here…

Apparently, this supplement is tasteless and even more importantly, it does not have a nasty after taste that many supplements have.

Here’s a rundown of the ingredients involved and what you need to concern yourself with. There are a number of ingrdients used in this product.

Green Tea
Vitamin E

The ashwagandha helps keep cortisol levels low in order to prevent hair from falling out. The green tea assists with balancing an oily scalp. The omega-3s and the biotin help with volume as well as elasticity.

The real question is whether or not this actually works? Based on our research, it seems like many people are saying that it doesn’t help reduce oily scalp issues as much as they’d like. However, people are saying that ashwagandha can help make your hair thicker due to the impact it has on your hormones.

The vitamin E helps to better moisturize your scalp and the omega 3 does the same. If you’re looking to try this out, you’ll need to head on over to Sephora where you can make a purchase for $28.

Hum Nutrition Hair Sweet Hair

This product is somewhat similar to the old-fashioned gushers gummies that we all used to love. These vegan gummies are shaped in hearts. Now, just because they look cute doesn’t mean they work better than the rest. One can only tell if they give it a try.

In terms of ingredients, here’s what you need to know. The product contains the following ingredients…

Folic Acid

The folic acid helps encourage hair growth and cell metabolism. The biotin does a lot as well and we’ve covered that ingredient many times over.

These definitely do taste better than the traditional vitamin, but it might be just as effective if you take a biotin supplement instead. Assuming you’re looking to give this a try, then you’ll need $20. Just head on over to Sephora and they should have some in stock for you there.

Have any other hair vitamin suggestions? GREAT! We’d love to hear from you then. Here’s what we need to know:

What you took. How much it cost. What you liked. Lastly, what you disliked. That’s it!
