A Simple Groom’s Wedding Day Skin Care Guide

The first thing that you need to know is that your skin is not going to look great unless you put a little bit of effort into it. There are a few things you’ll want to make sure that you do. These are very simple steps that you can put into action in a matter of minutes. It’s your choice to make the effort. Here are some of the things that you need to do.

Put The Soap Down

I’m going to request that you not use a basic bar of soap on your face before walking down the aisle. The reason you want to avoid using the basic bar of soap is for many reasons. Most importantly, it can really dry out your skin and cause substantial damage for the day. If your skin is sensitive, then it’s best that you substitute that soap bar for a sensitive face wash. Another option is to incorporate a homemade face wash or face pack that day. Reason being, you’ll know exactly what you’re applying to your skin. Just be sure not to go out of your way to apply something you’ve never used. The reaction may not be ideal when taking that approach.

Get Lots of Rest

Look, do not have your bachelor party the night before your wedding day. It’s too close of a call for not looking your best. If you’re planning on spending the night crushing drinks with your buddies, then you’re going to have a mad fiance when she sees your face.

Cleanse, Tone, Moisturize

There are a few things that you need to do if you want to look your best. Those are three simple steps: cleanse, tone, and moisturize. Wash your face the night before your big day. Exfoliate that evening as well to help get rid of the dead skin cells that exist on your face. Do not forget to use a toner the day before and the day of your wedding day. It will help minimize the amount of oil on your skin if you have excessively oil skin.

You’ll also want to use a high-end moisturizer on your wedding day. This will help prevent your skin from becoming dry and flaky. If you have a beard, you must put extra care into this entire process to keep your skin looking healthy.

Last but certainly not least, be sure to apply enough sunscreen the morning of your wedding. This is especially important if your ceremony is to take place outside. You don’t want your skin to burn or look uneven. Be sure to use a sunscreen with SPF.

These are the simple steps that any groom must take to look his best during his wedding day. If you neglect to do so, you’re not going to look your best. Simple as that and your wife to be will not be happy. Don’t whatever is necessary to look perfect that day!
