Gold Is Trending In Skin Care. Here’s Why It’s Flying Off Shelves…

Everybody loves gold. Snoop Dogg loves gold. Rick Ross loves it too. Heck, even Martha Stewart is all about gold (proof below). It should come as no surprise that we like gold too!

But the question is, does it help your skin?

We’ll get you to the answer in just a moment…

First, let’s take a moment to appreciate this incredible gif. I must say, there’s nothing better than two talented lyricists and a cooking legend getting together to sling some good old fashion food around the kitchen, ya dig!

Seriously, though. All joking aside, Martha Stewart’s and Snoop Dogg’s cooking show is the bomb dot com. I suggest you check it out. Now getting back to that gold…

There are lots of reasons why skin care companies are incorporating the use of gold in their products. Afterall, it’s 2018 and we’ve seen companies put aged cat poop in products, so nothing surprises us anymore. As far as reasons go, I’m going to share some of the most popular reasons why people are using gold-infused skin products and why stores are stocking the shelves with these shiny products.

Here’s What Gold Can Do For Your Skin

Keep in mind, I’m not making any specific claims here but merely pointing out some things that I learned while researching this popular ingredient.

The first reason that brands might be incorporating this ingredient into their products is that doing so may help reduce the presence of wrinkles as well as spots. Gold does this through activation of basal cells which exist within the skin. The activation is said to help improve elasticity. As a result, those lines are diminished, wrinkles, blemishes, so on and so forth.

Another reason why gold is so popular today is that it just might help prevent premature aging. All this can be done due to limiting drying of the skin. Dryness is awful when it comes to skin and if you need to reduce the dryness, then turn to gold. It can supposedly help increase your metabolic rate as well as reduce dryness. As a result, your skin will not age as quickly. I’ll leave it at that.

If you’re having issues with dull skin and poor circulation, then gold can help. Glowing skin is hard to achieve and blood circulation must be improved or optimal in order to achieve the unthinkable, perfect glowing skin. Incorporating gold infused skin products might help with this. It does so through absorption, making your skin healthier, better hydrated and then some.

Are anti-bacterial and anti-inflammation to characteristics that matter to you? Great, then you’ll be extra pleased to learn that gold has both of those properties. It’s great for skin rejuvenation and cell renewal.

Some other things that gold is said to be great for are combating skin allergies, treating sun damage, slowing down collagen depletion and so much more.

Those are just a few of the reasons why skin care brands are going all gold everything today. Give one a shot if you dare, but not before reading some of the reviews that we’ve provided right here. While most of the brands we recommend don’t contain gold, that doesn’t mean that you cant give some of those incorporating it a whirl. Afterall, it’s your body! I’m just glad you took the time to research and take some action today. A perfect way to round up hump day!

Mic drop.
