Glycolix Review

I was doing my typical searching for random skin care products and recently came across one called Glycolix. Of course, just like every other new skin care product I stumble upon until I really dive into things I don’t have any clue what it’s about, what it means or anything at all about it. That’s exactly why I do my research, plain and simple.

The Glycolix skin care brand just might be the product for you if you’re dealing with two very specific issues. One issue is hyperpigmentation and the other issue is rough skin. If you’re struggling with either of those things, then you might want to look into using this glycolic acid based product line. The brand literally built its name and following around that single ingredient.

Why you ask? Well, my guess is that they like what this ingredient does for your skin. Before I get into the product itself, I wanted to share some further insight into the brand and company behind it.

All About Glycolix

Well, the first thing I want to make clear is that I had a tough time finding the actual corporate website for this brand. It took some digging and typically when using dominant anti aging brands, it takes next to no time to find them online. That’s because most of the brands are the first results that show up.

Not with this brand…

After doing a bit of digging, I was able to determine that the brand is manufactured by a company called Topix Pharmaceuticals, Inc. This company actually manufactures a ton of products under various brands. You likely wouldn’t even know it until you visit the official site (topixpharm.com). After taking a closer look at the corporate website, it’s clear to see that this company is serious about skin can.

In fact, a closer look and I was able to determine that they carry all of the following products:

Antioxidants
Body Care
Cleansers
Exfoliators
Eye
Glycolic
Kits & Systems
Moisturizers
Peels & Specialty
Retinols
Sunscreens
Toners

As for brands, the company has nine brands which have been listed below:

Replenix
Replenix Acne Solutions
SRS
Citrix
ReBrightalyze
DermaTopix
Glycolix Elite
Glycolix
Resurfix

The brands are manufactured in an FDA Registered Facility and they’re made in the USA. The company does not test on animals for those worried about that.

I typically don’t share this information but I will, if you’re looking to contact the company for any reason whatsoever, you can do so by using the following information below:

More About The Glycolix Products & How It Works

Like I said, the majority of the products that the brand houses are specifically designed to include glycolic acid as the main ingredient. For those unfamiliar, the glycolic acid ingredient is a part of the alpha hydroxy acids. The reason so many skin care products incorporate this product is because it’s able to exfoliate the skin with ease and without being too invasive about it. The exfoliating process then helps increase the speed of the skin cell lifecycle, leading to new skin!

If you take a look at some of the reviews that have been posted online, you’ll notice that many consumers are writing and sharing their experience as a positive one. They’re stating that the products are especially effective for treating acne issues on your face as well as your back. This has to do with pores becoming larger and the glycolic acid having the ability to cleanse your pores. In fact, a glycolic acid peel is perhaps the most common skin treatment for removing dead skin cells in the least invasive manner possible.

Another reason that so many people like Glycolix products is because of their ability to help reduce the presence of hyperpigmentation issues and acne scarring issues. Sure, they aren’t miracle products that work overnight but they do work. Of course, there’s always more aggressive options out there.

More Reviews Proof

Are the reviews all stellar? Well, not exactly but they are pretty good. Although lots of people have mixed emotions or feelings about the products, most seem to really like it. Most people (in the long run) have had lots of good things to say about this brand.

However, some people seem to be less satisfied with the strength. Apparently, they were expecting great results immediately, but remember I mentioned that this isn’t always the case? Keep that in mind, please. You’re not going to see results overnight using something like this, I’m sorry to say it!

Then there’s the other side of the coin. You know, the people making claims that the product is far too strong to a point that they are not able to successfully use the product daily.

Other complaints that I read were not related to the effectiveness but the product build and packaging issues.

The Glycolix Products

Based on my searches, I was able to determine that this brand offers quite a few different products. You’ll find all of them listed below:

Glyco-Urea 15-15 Cream
10% Moisturizing Lotion
10% Shampoo/Body Wash
15% Body Lotion
18% Extremity Cream
Cleansing Pads – 5%, 10%, 15%
Gentle Facial Cleanser – 5%, 10%

I’ve covered a couple of the products in depth below to share further details.

The Glyco-Urea 15-15 Cream is a cream that contains 15% urea and 15% glycolic acid. The product has one objective, to treat, moisturize, and replenish your dry skin. If you’re dealing with issues such as psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema, scleroderma, or keratosis pilaris then this might be a good product for you to try. One thing I do like about these products is that they showcase before and after photos for each product.

The 18% Extremity Cream exists to do a couple of things. It’s meant to protect, soothe, and moisturize your skin. The product does all this through the use of antioxidants, vitamin E, aloe vera and more. It also contains squalane which is awesome if you’re prone to losing moisture.

Like I said, they’ve got lots of other products that you’ll want to become familiar with before making a purchase. Speaking of making a purchase…

Where To Buy It

If you’re looking to purchase these products, you’re going to have to do so via Amazon.com. TheDermStore.com, or Lovelyskin.com. You’ve got options but you cannot purchase them directly via the corporate website.
