There are quite a few extremely popular beauty bloggers that exist today. Some of which actually write for our site and others that we are very friendly with. The creator of Into The Gloss, a popular beauty blog, has recently launched her own skin care line and she’s on a mission to enrich the lives of many women today through her new brand Glossier. The products that Emily is introducing to the skin care industry are reasonably priced between $12 – $25 per product. Now, since this brand is just launching, I haven’t had a chance to try them as of yet. Therefore, I can’t provide a full product review. She sells a product called Soothing Face Mist which apparently contains some key ingredients such as rosewater, aloe and glycerin. Each of these ingredients plays a prominent role in natural skin improvement today.
Another popular product that she’s created is called Priming Moisturizer and it’s supposedly a good moisturizing product that’s simple, natural and balanced, leaving you with a great skin tint and tone. Some key ingredients in this product are the hyaluronic acid (which most skin care products contain that give you a bouncy hydrating feeling), a mushroom super hydrator made from a plant extract, as well as an ever popular oxygenating agent and anti redness complex. Lastly, the product contains vitamins A, C, E and even has a little radish root which helps protect your skin from cell damage.
A few other products launched by the Into The Gloss owner are Boy Brow, Coconut Balm Dotcom, Perfecting Skin Tint and the Mega Greens Galaxy Pack. I’ll likely be writing a full review on all these products at a later date. Until I’ve had a chance to perform a complete review, I can’t say I recommend that you use them. That wouldn’t make any sense what so ever. What I can recommend at the very minimum is that you take the time to develop a very strict skin care regimen and daily routine. You much remember that taking care of your body is one of the most important tasks in your daily routine. You only have one body and the by-product of treating your skin with great care is exponentially rewarding, yielding youthful results.
There is one final thing I should probably mention about the Glossier products. I mentioned that these products were reasonably priced. However, the more I think about it, the more I feel the need to remind you that price shouldn’t be a strong factor when it comes to caring for your skin. I’m a firm believer in if the price is too good to be true, it probably is! I’m not saying that these aren’t good products because they’re priced so “reasonably,” what I am saying is that when you’ve only got one body and one face, you want to treat it with the same respect you expect others to treat it. If a product is so low that it sounds like it’s a steal, there’s a chance that any proprietary formula may not contain enough of the specific active ingredients which typically make skin products work effectively. Don’t worry though, there are products that I (without a doubt) can confidently recommend.
Emily Weiss isn’t the first beauty blogger to launch her own company. In fact, there are hundreds of brands and thousands of products that have been created by very successful bloggers and beauty product aficionados across the country. It’s my job to keep you up to date on the latest and most importantly, let you know what actually works and what doesn’t. We’ve been working in the industry for years and if there’s a new skin care brand or product that you want us to do some research on for you, we’d be more than happy to do so! All you have to do is simply send us a message with the brand, product and details, they’ll start the process!
