Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Dark-Circle Corrector Eye Roller Review
The Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Dark-Circle Corrector Eye Roller is an easy to apply under eye concealer in a Light / Medium sheer tint that gently glides on the skin under the eye to conceal and treat dark circles. This dual purpose concealer eliminates the need for a separate under eye treatment. The concealer itself contains caffeine, which helps to brighten the under eye area, leaving the area feeling, and most importantly, awake.
Garnier claims that in just minutes of application, dark circles and under eye shadows appear diminished. In one week, eyes should look brighter. Does the Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Dark-Circle Corrector Eye Roller live up to its claim? Read on.
Our product testers tried this product and we’re overall quite happy with it. Application is very easy. Starting in the inner corner of the eye, simply apply the product to the outside edge of the eye. The concealer slides on incredibly gentle, with no rubbing or tugging at the under eye area. Then simply pat in to blend. The perk of this product is that it can be blended by using the finger tips, no additional beauty tools needed! It conceals dark under eye circles and brightens the under eye area in just seconds. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave the skin feeling sticky or tacky, so foundation can be applied within minutes of applying. The caffeine certainly helps to give the under eye area a shot of energy, if you will, just like coffee does to our bodies. It “wakes” up the under eye area, illuminating it. However, as far as a long term therapeutic product, caffeine alone will not correct dark under eye circles. This product is a concealer with instant brightening properties.
At the time of product testing, we were in possession of the light / medium formula. As noted in the product review video, we stated that this product is very light and most likely wouldn’t conceal dark circles on somebody with a tan or darker skin tone. We since learned that Garnier has formulated a second shade, medium to tan! Now this product is available to those with darker skin tones!
