Have you ever heard of Etsy? There’s a good chance that you have and if you haven’t well, I’d say that you’re probably the only one on earth that hasn’t heard about this giant marketplace. Etsy is a marketplace where lots of people can sell homemade goods and uniquely made products. Of those products, some of those are made by skin care companies. Many of the companies are all about remaining cruelty-free.

For the record, here at, we’re only behind brands that create 100% cruelty-free products, no exceptions here ever. Now that we got that out of the way, we’ve got some goodies to share with you this today. Assuming you’re open to purchasing skin care products from small mom and pop companies or micro brands, then you’ll want to keep reading. Below you’ll find a half dozen skin brands selling on Etsy and they’re all cruelty-free brands.

Etsy Skin Brands That Are Cruelty-Free (And Worth Checking Out)

There are a lot of options out there if you’re looking to buy skin care products. Many products on the market bring nothing but irritation and disappointment. Then there are some that just surprise the heck out of you when you wake up blemish free. If you’re looking for cruelty-free product options created by companies that pride themselves on producing high-quality handmade skin care products, then the list below may be of interest to you.

What the heck does cruelty-free even mean? Well, it means that the products have been manufactured without the use of any testing on animals. Meaning that no animals were used or harmed in creating products.

All these products are cruelty-free and are sold on Etsy. They’ve been listed in no particular order. I’ll kick the list off with Urban Oreganics. They’ve got a really catchy name if you ask me and it should come as no surprise that Urban Oreganics comes from Portland, Oregon. This brand is all about creating natural skin care products in small batches. They cover a ton of different types of products too. Things like beauty products, baby products, and even products for your hair. The brand is vegan-friendly and claims to be 100% natural. Oh, they use recyclable packaging too. Check out the picture below to see what the products look like.

Next on the list is the Twinkle Apothecary care. This is an Etsy brand that’s based out of Oklahoma and it too claims to be 100% vegan as well as cruelty-free. I have extra love for this company because it’s a female-owned brand that doesn’t contain any parabens, artificial scents, preservatives or anything of that nature. They produce various products such as deodorants, toners, lip balms, body butter, face oils and lots of other goodies. One of my favorite products contains activated charcoal. They’re for sure part of the #greenbeauty team!

The Hensley Asher Co made the Etsy skin care list as well. The company creates handmade goods and they try to keep the products natural. As far as product type, they use face creams, lotions, toners, perfumes, and even candles. The Etsy skin company has 9,000+ followers on Instagram, which is pretty decent considering the crazy number of companies out there. They’ve been selling on Etsy since 2015 and they’re from Fremont, Ohio.

I can’t forget about the Conscious Skincare company. This is a brand that’s based out of the United Kingdom and they’ve got a pretty wide range of cruelty-free products. What I like about this brand is that they sell their products in packages based on the type of skin that you’ve got. Regardless of your skin type, they’ve got you covered, trust me. This skin brand incorporates the use of plants whenever possible. If you’re a vegan, you might want to check out this Etsy shop. They sell products on their corporate website as well.

Last but not least, there’s Clean-Faced Cosmetics, which comes all the way from Grand Rapids, Michigan. The brand is an organic brand, 100% vegan, and they have a pretty unique product creation process which is a zero waste process. If you’re interested in trying out a new eyeshadow, foundation, blush, or lip balm, then this might be the one for you.
