Which Essential Oils Best Clear Up Your Eye Bags?

Most eye bags form due to aging but not all of them. Some form because of allergies, infections, fluids, irritations and many other reasons. Whatever the underlying reason, while it’s important to determine that, it’s also important to determine what can fix them.

There are a number of simple home remedies that you can look into doing if you want to get rid of your eye bags. One of the things that you can look into using are essential oils. These are often applied to provide quick relief and fix unsightly sagging eye bags that would make anyone cringe. Here are some of the most popular essential oils that you’ll want to consider using.

Important: One thing you want to remember is how important it is to keep the oils out of your eyes and off your eyelids. The only are you should be applying these essential oils is under your eyes, period.

Here is a rundown of the oils that you shoudl consider applying to your under eye region to reduce your eyebags.

Fennel Oil

Though fennel is not a popular essential oil, it’s on that many see as being very effective when it comes to both treating and preventing eye bags from forming. This type of oil is known for being able to reduce or depuff your under eyes and it helps tighten and tone your skin as well.

German Chamomile Oil

Another uncommong essential oil, German Chamomile contains anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce the amount of swelling taking place at under your eyes. Many people opt for basic chamomile tea bags when they can’t seem to get their hands on essential oils. Apparently it works quite well based on the research that I’ve done.

Rosemary Oil

The essential oil, rosemary, is one that’s commonly used to help enhance memory and grow hair, but it’s also often used to help reduce under eye bags. The reason it works so well is due to an ingredient called ceffeic as well as another known as rosemarinic acid. Both of these ingredients are well-known for being anti-inflammatories which help reduce the swelling going on under the skin.

Cypress Oil

If you’re looking for an ingredient that works to take down the swelling of blood vessels, then this is your ingredient. As the swollen area reduces, the anti-edma properties will help suck out all the fluid that’s been retained. As a result, no more eye bags!

Lavender Oil

This is what I’d refer to as the most essential oil out there. It’s versatile and has diuretic properties which can help remove the water and fluid build up that’s been stored in your under eye region. Not to mention, it’s pretty much great for calming your skin and soothing the area.

There are lots of other essential oils that you can consider if you’re looking to fight off those under eye bags. These are just some of them that are out there. My advice would be to give one or two of them a try and see what happens!

Another thing you can do is give one of the top eye creams a try too. That’s what most people do today.
