It should go without saying that here at SkinCare.net we’re huge advocates of using a skin serum. In fact, if I had to take the time to list all the serums that we’ve used, tested, and most importantly approved over the years, then I’d be here all day. However, I’m not going to do that. Instead, I’m going to share with you a new brand (to me) and product that I’ve recently come across. The brand is called Epione Skin Care and the product is their Flawless Serum.
The first thing that you need to know about the Epione Beverly Hills Flawless Serum is that it’s a brand that was developed by Dr. Simon Ourian. For those of you not familiar with who this doctor is, he’s a celebrity dermatologist that handles cosmetic issues for high-profile clients in Beverly Hills, CA. Sure he’s successful and we give him credit for being so successful. Nevertheless, diving into the product is what we do and that’s the plan regardless of how successful or unsuccessful.
More About Epione Beverly Hills Flawless Serum
I first decided to dive right into the Amazon product listing before doing anything else. That said, I’m going to share everything that I learned while doing so. The first thing I noticed was the nice container that this product comes in. Not gonna lie, I was totally digging the serum bottle. It’s black and gold and sleek as can be.
I wanted to learn some more about the product, so I scrolled down to see what type of information the company provided in the listing. That’s when I was completely let down. I mean, with all the competition out there in terms of skin care products and other things of that nature, you’d think that this company would share more info other than the fact that this product reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles and that it tightens as well as firms the skin. It does all this while providing a protective barrier. Sounds like a lot of information, but for an Amazon listing, it’s pretty plain jane.
Moving On To Customer Reviews
I was shocked when I only saw three customer reviews posted on the Flawless serum product listing. I mean seriously, if a product is that good, you’d think that the company would go out of their way to get people to post things about it, right?
Well based on my research, the company only has three simple reviews posted, giving it an average 5.0 out of 5.0 in terms of a product rating. Here’s the current Amazon listing rating breakdown which I pulled directly from the listing.
Information I Found On The Official Website
I went ahead and did what digging I could on the official company website. Unfortunately, I didn’t find much further information related to this product. I combed the whole website looking for a list of ingredients and could not find one.
I’m no genius, but I am a typical consumer that wants insight and answers. That said, I’m sure that many people have turned away from using this product just because the ingredients were undisclosed. One thing I can’t stand about this lack of disclosure approach is that you really haven’t got a clue what’s actually in the product. If you’ve got an allergy to an ingredient, you cannot use this. Non-disclosure doesn’t help anyone, trust me.
Even the website, in general, doesn’t disclose much information about the brand or products. Quite the let down in my personal opinion.
Looking further into the products on the website, I quickly learned that this cost a ton of money in terms of average anti aging serums! The Epione Flawless Serum sells for a whopping $195.00. With a two-sentence product description and a high-priced product, there’s no way you should look into using this product. It’s a 1.0 oz 30mL serum.

Yelp Paints An Entirely Different Picture
I normally don’t do this, but this time I decided to head on over to Yelp in order to see what more consumers had to say about the product. I almost fell out of my chair when I read some of the reviews! They’ve got an overall positive Yelp rating but some of the reviews on here are unreal. Lots of 1-star ratings left and right that I don’t even know where to begin. Just to give you a taste of some of the things that consumers are writing. If I were running this operation I’d probably shut it down.
Looking for other products under the Epione brand? If so, you’ll find the Eye Rejuvenation Serum, Hydration Serum, Broad Spectrum Serum, and the correction Serum all for roughly $120 – $145 each. That’s a whole lot of money to spend on one product, especially one that doesn’t have stellar reviews!
Believe it or not, there are other sites which have taken the time to publish information on this brand. I’ve done my homework and noticed that the Womensblogtalk.com website rated this a 1.5 out of 5.0. That’s pretty awful in my opinion. However, one of the sites had a really positive review about the company. Harpers Bazaar reported that Victoria’s Secret Model Jasmine Tookes used the Epione products in her daily nighttime routine. She uses the Flawless Serum based on the research I’ve done.
Conclusion: Epione Flawless Serum Is Too Pricey, Not Enough Info
I personally don’t care whether or not a doctor owns this brand. If a product costs close to $195.00 and there is a lack of disclosure, then I’m not all about using it. In fact, I’ll have to state for the record that this is probably not the best buying decision that you could make as a skin care consumer. Instead, might I suggest you check out the list of other serums that we recommend using. Better yet, just use this instead.
For the record, I would have shared a lot more information on this product and brand, but there’s just not that much out there and truthfully, not much to say about it other than if they disclosed ingredients and lowered the price, I’d probably be all for it and then some!
