You know who the Dollar Shave Club is and what they’re all about. If you’ve been reading my posts for some time now then you know how much I like this brand. Not for the products necessarily, but for the marketing, which is pure genius. Well, anytime they release anything I’m all over it and ready to report it to all of you. They’re finally free! No, the products aren’t free, but some of them are sulfate free!
Some Dollar Shave Club Products Are 100% Sulfate Free
These guys own a huge piece of the market share for men’s grooming products. Now there’s a good chance that they’ll be grabbing up some more due to the move that they’ve just made.
The company launched Wanderer, a grooming line, after spending 18 long months researching consumers beliefs, wants and needs. They did the unthinkable. Consumers asked and DSC answered. Not only did they answer, but they went 100% sulfate free. Before you ask, yes, it is different from their Big Cloud skin care line.
According to a press release recently published, Chief Innovation Officer, Fadi Mourad, mentioned that their members have issues with their skin and most of them start in the shower. They wanted to respond powerfully by providing customers with products that have quality active ingredients and are completely free of sulfate.
If you’re not familiar with the wanderer line, it consists of cleansers, body bars and even a fancy lathering shower cloth. The ingredients are those that most guys are accustomed to using such as jojoba seed, ginseng, aloe leaf, cedarwood and more.
If you’re looking for a product that’s been created specifically for men and that’s sulfate free then I encourage you to check out their line of skin products. At the very least, you’ve got to take a few minutes and honor them by watching the ridiculous television ads that they’ve creatively produced. It doesn’t get any better than that.
This is the original commercial that was created for their pilot brand and product. It’s absolutely amazing.
This is another one of their commercials that’s pretty well done too!
Again, I’m not saying that you absolutely have to purchase products from this company. In fact, there are a ton of great skin care brands for men that are just as good and maybe even better. However, you can’t help but appreciate the effort and ingenuity here! It’s a force not to be messed with.
