I recently received an email from one of our readers and it was in the form of a request. Apparently, they came across a brand on Amazon called the Divine Derriere and they were questioning whether or not it was a viable skin care solution. Given that I honestly hadn’t heard about the brand or any of the products that they own, I had to defer or at least delay my response back.
Since then, I’ve had a chance to dive into the Divine Derriere product line and take a closer look at their most popular products. I’ll do my best to cover some of the product “specifics” before making any recommendations to either purchase or avoid this skin care line.
Before getting into the products, let me touch upon a few things that I learned about the Divine Derriere skin company. I’ll do this in a quick fact checklist fashion for you to best understand the company behind these products.
What I Learned About Divine Derriere
The very first thing I do when researching a skin care line is dive right into the search engines and do my research online. There’s so much that can be learned about a company and it’s founders with the click of a mouse. After doing a quick search, I learned that Divine Derriere has their own full online store and collection where they sell their products. They seem to be well-known on Facebook with a page containing 10,000+ likes.
One thing I liked about them on Facebook was that they reply almost instantly when messaged and they’ve got a customer support number prominently placed on both the website as well as their Facebook page. It seems as though the company is based out of San Mateo, CA.
A basic company search seemed to display zereo red flags. However, I did notice one result that was a bit alarming. The companies rating on resellerratings.com was aa 2 out of 5 stars. There have only been 20 reviews at the time of writing this so I’m going to take that with a grain of salt.
I dove a little deeper into the company website and quickly learnd that they have quite a few best sellers listed within their online beauty shop. Some of the best selling products seem to be the Jessner 14% peel, Lactic Acid 50% peel, and the Gly-lactic 60% peel.
They currently offer a variety of different types of products focusing on skin care, anti aging, peels, and their best sellers.
Divine Derriere has products for various solutions such as eliminating dark spots, hyperpigmentation, larage pores, uneven skin tone and extra dry skin. They sell the products individually as well as in sets or skin care kits as they’re commonly referred to these days.
As for product categories, the three main categories are the lightening solutions, brightening serums, and the peel treatments.
The packaging of each product is very clean and plain. However, that doesn’t mean that it has any impact on the effectiveness of the products. I’ll dive into each of the products to give you a better understanding of each of the most popular individual products.
Skin Lightening Cream 6% AHA
This is one of Divine Derriere’s best selling products. It’s the SKin Lightening Cream which contains 6% AHA and comes in a one ounce jar. The product is lightweight and is said to be able to be quickly absorbed into the skin. It contains a 6% glycolic acid and lactic acid solution which is what does the work to lighten the skin.
There are a number of other ingredients in this product, but you’ll want to reference the label to get the full ingredients list. The product is best used on those that have uneven skin, sun spots, blotchy skin, freckles, melasma, and other similar skin issues.
Lactic Acid 88% Peel
Another popular product that the Divine Derriere company produces in the lactic acid peel. It’s easy to understand what this and as it’s basically a very potent peel that contains almost all lactic acid. I wouldn’t call it medical grade but it’s definitely up there in terms of potency. This product helps encourage exfoliation, unclogging of pores, shedding of dead skin cells, and so much more.
If you’re fighting hyperpigmentation issues, then you might consider this product as well. It can be used by individuals with all types of skin. The product works by stimulating collagen production and improving cell turnover. As a result, your skin is more balanced with better texture. There is one caution that I must warn you about with this product. If you have an allergy to milk, then you want to avoid any products containing lactic acid.
Skin Lightening Lotion
The Divine Derriere dark spot correcting lotion is the newest of all the products. This is a 1.7 ounce product that comes in cream form and is able to quickly lighten brown or dark spots on the skin. The product comes in an air-tight containing which protects the formula from air exposure. The active ingredient in this product is hydroquinone 2%, which is quite common in other skin lightening formulas on the market today.
Lots of people use this in their more intimate areas based on some of the reviews that I’ve read. It can help lighten areas due to age spots, sun spots, melasma, freckles, and many other things that cause dark spots to form. All you have to do is apply the product once or twice daily for best results. Apply a layer over the darker areas and you should see results.
Divine Derriere Rewards
The company has a rewards point system that they run. Consumers can sign up, earn points for the purchases that they make and redeem those points in exchange for free products.
I should also mention that they have an extensive frequently asked questions section which lays out any and every question you might have is listed there. In the event that you still have questions, simple email hello@DivineDerriere.com and they’ll be able to help.
Buying The Products
If you are iterested in purchasing these products, then you’ve got two options here. You can either buy them on the company website or you can head on over to Amazon and purchasing them there. Many people choose to buy through Amazon because they’re familiar with the process. Therefore I suggest taking that approach.
But before you do…
There’s a product that I suggest looking into if skin lightening in intimate areas is what your may objective may be. There’s a product called Seductiva which we’ve reviewed here that’s actually got better ratings than any of the Divine Derriere products. Give that a shot before trying the Divine products. Here is a link to the Seductiva review, read this before making a purchase.
