I hate to end the week on a negative note but I wouldn’t be able to sleep without sharing this with you. The skin care company known as Liz Earle has recently recalled one of its major products. They’ve got a very good reason to do so as well. Find out which product and what you need to be on the lookout for today.

ATTENTION: This is a consumer warning. If you are using any Liz Earle beauty products, then you will want to pay close attention to this.

Liz Earle Product Recall

Skin Care Company Liz Earle Recalls Product Due To Glass

Whenever any company issues a “discontinue use” statement to consumers, it’s extremely important that they do so! Liz Earle has recently issued a strong “stop use” and “dispose” warning to consumers over a specific product. The Superskin Concentrate for Night, which is a small vial of facial oil, is known to have traces of glass in it.

This warning is specifically related to batch number 6T and the company has verified that glass has been found within vials from this batch.

To be safe, they are officially recalling batches 6F and 6P as well. You can find the batch code on both the product sleeve as well as on the vial cap.

For those of you that may have further questions or concerns, I encourage you to contact the company directly. I’ve provided the company information below. Here’s a link to the company site where they’ve published this information.

By email: naturallyactive@lizearle.com

UK: 0800 413 318
ROI: 1800 937 540
USA: 1-800-515-5911
International: +44 (0) 1983 813913

If you know anyone that uses this brand, I suggest you send them this link so that they are aware of the issue. Finding glass in any consumer product is serious and it certainly shouldn’t be taken lightly. I’m confident that the company will likely issue a credit or refund for those that made a purchase.

Looking for an alternative facial oil or serum? The good news is that we’ve scoured the Internet and have tried many of them out there on the market today. I’d suggest checking out this section of our site to see what you can find as an alternative. I’d personally suggest something that has this ingredient in it to tighten up your skin if you’re looking to do that. If you’re simply looking for a cream to apply at night, there are plenty on the site.

So, I thought I’d let you know that I did some more investigating on this company and their products. It turns out that this isn’t the first time they’ve had a recall. There were reports back in November 2016 that the company had recalled a product due to the presence of bacteria. Check out the details here.
