Celltone Review – Snail Gel Extract!

You know what I love? I really love skin care products with catchy names. I’m even more intrigued by weird ingredients and stuff like that. Guess what? It looks like I hit the motherload with this Celltone Snail Gel in that respect! I had no idea what they heck Celltone was until I started researching things a bit more. For all I know, it was a cellphone company. NOPE! It’s a brand that offers snail skin products. Here’s what you need to know about it and why I’m so intrigued by this product.

Full disclosure: Just because I say that I like a product doesn’t mean that it works or that you should run right out and buy it. That’s not the approach that anyone should take. This is all the more reason why you need to keep reading to learn more. Here’s what I know about Celltone and the Snail Gel product that they sell.

Celltone Snail Gel Review

Celltone comes all the way from South Africa and their company motto is that nature is the best laboratory. Honestly, I can’t say that I disagree because most of the time it is! A lot of times all you need to do is put time in where and when needed and you may not even need these skin care products. Anyway, I digress, back to the topic at hand…

This Celltone skin care company is innovative in their products as they offer several that have been made with snail gel extract, which has been specifically made for treating various skin concerns. Celltone offers consumers a wide range of products. You’ll find things such as exfoliating products, cleansing products as well as hydration boosters. The list goes on and on.

The company (or the one doing the advertising) makes claims that the snail gel extract used in their product is sourced from natural sources. While this may be debatable until proven for certain, there is strong evidence that their products have indeed helped a lot of people. Can I say for certain that it’s going to fix everything and make your skin a lot nicer? Nope, I can’t say that it’s a miracle ingredient but based on my research, it seems like it just might help.

Company Details / Products

Celltone is in the business of making unique formulas/blends which incorporate the snail gel extract into. The inclusion of this extract stems from inspiration that came from snail farm workers. According to the story, they were in constant contact with snails while working and they noticed that their hands were smoother and softer to the touch. Someone must have had some sort of lightbulb moment aka eureka moment of some sort.

Fast forward a bit…

The snail gel extract was born. As the company grew, they started to create other products and they now have a wide range of unique products ranging from skin care to hair care.

The main product that they market and sell is obviously still the Celltone Snail Gel. It’s been specially designed to fight wrinkles and repair stretch marks. It also has been proven to help reduce the appearance of dark spots through regular product use.

Using Celltone Snail Gel Extract

The Snail Gel should be used twice a day on all affected areas that you wish to smooth out. You should start noticing visible results in about eight weeks, sometimes even less. I know, it seems like an eternity but with skin care issues, it often takes a bit of time to clear things up. That’s just the nature of it all.

Ingredients

One of the main ingredients in the Celltone Snail Gel is allantoin. This compound helps prevent flaking of the skin, all the while reducing inflammation. Another important ingredient used in this formula is Vitamin E, which effectively locks the moisture into the skin, preventing it from drying out.

You’ll also find that several essential oils complete the formula. This helps hydrate the skin, while also fighting off free radicals and preventing potential damage due to many environmental factors.

But wait, there’s more. On a bad note, you’ll find that this product contains parabens which are not well-received among consumers today. The product also contains something known as Diazolidinyl urea and this has a tendency to cause irritation to people with sensitive skin. If your skin frequently becomes red, aggravated, or sensitive, then I suggest not using this until you speak with a licensed dermatologist in your local area.

Buying The Product

If you’re interested in buying this product, then your best bet is to head on over to the official site. You’ll actually find lots of other products made by Celltone and an explanation of how to use each of the products as well as why you should use them.

However, one thing, you need to be careful when purchasing anything from Celltone. The company is based in South Africa. Even if the shipping is higher than most U.S. based product options, I still don’t suggest buying anything online from this company that’s not sold on either Amazon.com or the corporate site.

Conclusion

The company advertises the snail gel as being a solid option for treating dark spots, acne, stretch marks, fine lines, and wrinkles. There have been many people who have posted success stories on the Internet about this company and snail gel extract in general. The success stories are from people that have seen a significant reduction in stretch marks and smoothing of wrinkles after prolonged use of the gel. There were some negative reviews published, where people mentioned that they experienced irritation and inflammation, but these may or may not have been written by consumers with sensitive skin.

Regardless, these claims, both positive and negative, should be taken with a grain of salt. If you want to get to the bottom of things and learn whether or not this really works, then all you need to do is try it out. My advice would be to pick the brain of a local derma before diving into things. If you’ve used it, then share your experience with us. We love people that share!
