Have you ever walked into the gym and seen the older man or woman that’s in fantastic shape? Chances are, they may even look your age or much younger. Well, turns out that it’s likely the anti aging exercises that they’re performing that’s a huge factor in this.
Fact: Anti Aging Exercises Work
It’s a known fact that many men and women likely exercise for more reasons other than keeping their body internally fit. In fact, most likely exercise to look as good as possible. They probably could care much less about being healthy internally than looking really, really, ridiculously good looking. I can’t say I blame them. However, it’s not just about looking good but feeling good as well.
Before I get into the various anti aging exercises that are most beneficial for keeping you looking young, I should mention that the Scientific American published an article which further revealed to us that being physical and active most definitely is directly related to slowing down the aging process. It’s the exercising factor that has the most impact on things, but why? Well, according to Scientific American, it’s the length of an individual’s telomeres that impacts things.
Now, let’s get into the really important stuff, each of these anti aging exercises that are mentioned below will without a doubt help you stay healthier and keep you looking younger. However, I have to mention that results can sometimes vary and I’d advise you to consult your doctor before you begin a strict exercise regimen. Chances are unless you have a serious physical condition, your doctor will have similar recommendations.
If you want to look younger, you’ll want to stick to exercises that are natural movements which impact your larger body parts. For example, I’d suggest that you begin incorporating basic core exercises like the squat and twist as well as lunges. Here’s a quick video of a woman in the park performing the squat and twist exercise. Of course, all of these exercises can be performed by both men and women.
Another exercise that I personally recommend incorporating into your routine is a few sets of basic burpees. If you don’t know how to do a burpee or what it is, it’s great for your core, legs and cardiovascular.
Should I incorporate a strict cardio regimen?
Absolutely! Yes, you must incorporate some form of cardio and leaving this out is a huge mistake. Cardio can help you burn fat and fight weight gain. Cardio also does wonders for increasing your overall energy levels. That’s what it does for me personally at least. I personally feel younger and healthier when I’m working a cardio regimen into my exercise routine. There’s a good chance that it will do the same for you.
Lastly, one of the major reasons why people look like they are aging quicker than they really are is probably directly related to their personal levels of stress. If you’re serious about trying to slow down the aging process, then incorporating anti aging exercises that are centered around relieving stress are extremely important. For that reason, I suggest you start working regular yoga as well as face yoga into your workout routine. According to Total Beauty, it definitely helps! That should be a good start! Good luck and start reversing the aging process today!
