I have an obsession with trying new products. I do have a comfort zone and I tend to use the same makeup for my day to day look, but from time to time I like to mix it up and try new products. After all, life is too short to wear boring makeup.
Most recently, I ran out of both eyeliner and eyebrow pencil filler. I headed to Ulta with my coupon and spent at least an hour perusing the aisles looking for some new products.
For my upper eyelid, I like to use an eyeliner that is semi-liquid, not a true liquid that is wet and not a pencil, but a liner that glides on with ease. My favorite is NYX Super Fat Marker, but in the spirit of trying new products, I ditched the NYX and opted for Maybelline’s Master Graphic Eyeliner. This liner is the semi-liquid liner I’m referring to, although it is called a liquid eyeliner. This product promises the boldest line with the smallest most precise tip for all day wear. The flat side can be used for a bold, thick line that screams “notice me” and the sharp tip can be used for precision lines and creating winged tips. Did I like the product? The second product I picked up is the Maybelline Define and Fill Due by EyeStudio. I typically use the NYX Cake Powder but they were out of my shade forcing me to opt for something else. The Define and Fill Duo looked easy enough and fool proof. It’s a two sided pencil in which one side is the self sharpening pencil that can be used to create the outline and shape of the brow and the other side is the powder that is used to fill in the brows once the outlines have been created. Depending on your brows needs, you could also use just one side or the other. How did the Define and Fill Duo by EyeStudio fare? You’ll have to watch the video review!
